I sourced the input it of the existing sub so I’m able to control it from then cars head unit. Sounds amazing!!! Wow ! It’s on a 2024 civic hatchback so the sound travels better but 💯 worth it!! It takes up no space other than having to move the Jack to the side

I like that I can get quality sub sound. This is not the Bang that the younger generation likes. It's not going to rattle your license plate but it will vibrate your mirrors. One point that I had to figure out on my own is that after initial install, the amp would not turn on at even at the lowest setting. I had to jump the 12volt power input to the REM input to get it to turn on. After that, I have not had any issues. Overall, it is a good buy for the money and very well built. Worked OK for about 6 months. One day it just quit, and the fuse popped. After replacing the fuse, it powers on but does not have any sound coming out. Getting any sort of support from the manufacturer has proven extremely difficult. They respond quickly thru Amazon, and direct you to contact them on their main site. First off let me say this is my third NVX product and I would compare them to alpine products for a much more affordable price. This NVX sub amp combo was super easy to install and sounds great! If you are looking to round out the over all sound of your vehicle (not rattle doors) then this will work great. It’s a big improvement to my 2012 F150. One thing I didn’t understand was the on off switch on the amp, but you will want to leave it off if you have a remote wire from your stereo to the REM input on the amp. I bought this not long ago after doing some research on a compact box for my truck. It work great for the first few weeks. I never really did anything crazy with it. After I felt like it “broke in” I finally played a song to test it out and it completely blew up. There’s parts broken off inside of it. Electrical shorts on the board and will blow the fuze for the sub and wiring harness. I bought a wiring harness off Amazon that they recommended and installed it correctly. Added this behind the seat of my single cab F150. It filled the sound nicely with the NVX 6.5” components I have. For an 8” sub, I am pleased with what it puts out. For the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.
