  • Variable Low-Pass Filter - A low-pass filter is an electronic circuit that removes all the notes below the filter's frequency setting. You will use the low-pass filter to primarily keep high notes out of your subwoofer. Adjust it from 50-150 Hz to best fit your system.

I had high hopes for this little sub and at first it was very disappointing. It not only didn’t have any low sound, but it just buzzed and vibrated like crazy. Not from anything loose, just the general sound coming out of it. A few things really helped turn it around though. 1. Playing with the input frequency helped a ton. This seemed to make it hit way harder and lower. 2. Turning the low pass filter way down. These little subs can hit mid frequency bass really well and severely over power the entire space. Turning it down helped it just support the low end that my door speakers can’t hit. 3. I turned off the base boost completely. This seems to allow the sub to just fill the lows in without distorting. I have it under the back seat of my four door Chevy Colorado for reference. Now that I have it tuned I love it. It rounds out the music nicely to where I feel like I hear and get to feel all the notes of music properly. It’s not mega powerful, but that’s ok with me. For normal volumes it sounds good and clean. For the price it works really well, but I am curious if the Kicker 10 under seat sub is even better for over double the price. ... show more

    • Blown after an hour of use.

Worked fine during initial testing but blew the built-in fuse after about an hour of use. Now it blows the fuse instantly, likely due to an internal short.

So, the “500w” is laughable. With the supplied 15amp fuse, using math, this can put a max of 200w. When i hooked it up, it sounded good. So that’s the plus side. The port? Well, it’s not even real. When in use, you should feel air coming out if this. You don’t. Which makes me feel it’s not even a real port. The best part? The case was energized. When i mounted it to the floor, i immediately blew a fuse. Checked it with my multimeter… and sure enough. Sucked because it DID sound good. Just not safe to install. Will update when i get the replacement. ... show more

Update: Still Very Happy With This And Have Had No Issues With This Little Sub What So Ever. Really Glad I Purchased! I Purchased (Not A Vine Product) And Installed Last Weekend. I Will Say if You Are Wanting To Add A Little Low End To Your System But Short On Room, It's Pretty Solid. If You Want Tons Of Bass, Like Most Will Tell You, This Probably Isn't For You. I Will Say I Wouldn't Crank The Bass Boost And Gain To The 11's, It May Have/Need A Break In Period But Doesn't Specify In The Manual. I Am Running It At Less Than 1/2 On The Gain And No Bass Boost At The Moment. For The Money I Am Pretty Impressed And Happy With It, I Will Do An Update In The Next Few Weeks. ... show more

Ordered 2 of these one showed up with a blown fuse and I replaced it and still nothing. The other worked great. Had to return the bad and reorder another one. Second one works fine
