Plenty of room. The photos show 4 3600 size boxes, but it will hold 5. Top compartment hold leader material, measuring tape, crimping tool and sleeves, along with a bunch of other necessities. Having a pocket for a water bottle is great - I always forget to bring water to stay hydrated, now I don't. I don't use the side pockets for fishing rods, rather lip-grippers and de-hooking tool. I bought this for it vacation to FL in March. I usually have to bring two tackle bags to carry all my gear. With this backpack I fit everything in with room to spare. Great product at a great price.

This backpack was bigger than expected. It has plenty of room for everything I can use it for all of my fishing and camping gear. Good material and feels very durable. The price is good considering the size, quality and everything I can use it for.

Overall the forty five liter fishing backpack has ample space. But there is no tackle boxes included. The build quality is very good . The wide straps make it very comfortable to wear even when loaded down. I do like that.It has a space for a fishing rod and a water bottle. So it does have some versatility it. The reason. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the value.If it had tackle boxes that came with it ,would have been a great value . And trying to find the right tackle boxes that fit , the best is a pain . I would have rather been charged a little bit more and have the right size tackle boxes to go with it .

This backpack was perfect for all the tackle I own. You do have to buy extra containers but that completely optional.
