Pros: It’s very quite compared to the older 3 qt. Cons: Like others the non stick coating has started peeled away. After a few months of use the burning plastic smell is still noticeable. It doesn’t seem to crisp as well as the original 3 qt fryer which I replaced due to not being able to find replacement parts. The 3 qt is on its last legs and the 6 qt still isn’t big enough. I still like it for quick setup but when I have the time I prefer breaking out the gas grill. My microwave is on the way out and I should have purchased an over the counter microwave / air fryer instead of this purchase which I will probably be doing before year end. ... show more

    • Efficient way to cook
New user, have done fries, tots, tacos and chicken. Chicken with panko is crispy without as many calories as fried, fries and tots crisper than oven baked. We got a taco rack, those came out good. Can't imagine feeding a family with it, perfect size for 2 people.

These pieces do add versatility to the air fryer. I have to agree with another reviewer that is so not worth $40. A corning ware dish could be used in place of the pot but the handle is a nice feature. I hope the pot wears better than described. The mesh rack doubles the cooking area. So far everything I've cooked turned out great! ... show more

    • An enhancement to the kitchen appliances
our first effort was hand made french fries. we bought the cooking pan and wire rack accessories kit, it's worth it. the rack allowed us two levels of fries, the bottom level didn't brown as fast so, swapped them half way through during the 'shake' phase. looking forward to experimenting with other items. appears bite sized items/appetizers may be our initial focus until we get more adventurous. I often submit reviews for products I purchase but was prompted by this NuWave seller in lieu of a $40 Amazon gift card. regardless, my review stands with or without the incentive. Since it's typically just the two of us, I expect we'll use this when the oven would be overkill for the small portion of food we're preparing. ... show more

    • Nice to have, but pricey for what it is
I like that this accessory gives me an extra "shelf" but it was pricey considering what it is. I've seen it for less since I bout it. Cleaning wasn't exactly simply. The same as the basket in the bottom of the air fryer.
