I got this for my wife for our Anniversary as she was always mentioning how much she wanted to try out an air fryer to cook several of her recipes. Once we started cutting back on the calories in our diets, I thought it was time to get her one as I knew she would never buy one on her own. Plus, I'm more of the "tech" guy in the house so she usually likes me to do my research and find what's perfect for our situation. I wanted to make sure I got one that was large enough for both of us and our teenage kids (especially my 6 foot tall son who works out every day and eats a ton, lol!) So I got this Nuwave Brio 6-Quart as I knew it would be the perfect size for our family and wow was I right! It really holds a ton of food and the built-in tech that continuously monitors the temperature fluctuations and makes constant temp adjustments does a great job to evenly cook the food without it drying out! Plus, it comes with so many great accessories including the non-stick grill pan, cooking rack, divider insert, baking pan, and a breakfast kit, yummy! This was such a great deal and my wife loved all the extras that helped her to easily cook with an air fryer. She can easily grill steaks, fish, chicken, and we can do it indoors all summer long and not get stuck outside in this Florida heat in front of a grill, it can get mighty hot! Oh, and its dishwasher safe! Having been married for almost 30 years, I know how important that option is in cooking accessories, lol! I highly recommend this Air Fryer as it serves our whole family, does an excellent job at cooking food and it's easy to clean, 5 Stars!

This item came with a lot more than I was expecting! I was really looking for an air fryer, which this IS, but it has a lot more features and a lot more accessories than I realized. I have to admit that I was a little intimidated, and have so far just used it for simple air frying, but you can do a lot more complicated cooking with it. In addition to the regular air fryer basket, it also has a baking basket, a temperature probe, a grill pan, as well as a breakfast kit that includes egg cups, and a bacon rack. It includes many recipes and also has 100 cooking programs that are already set up, so you can just follow the recipe and select the programmed number that goes with it. You can also set up your own program, so if there are things you cook on a regular basis, you can program that in and just select that number for your recipe. I don’t want to say that I don’t like all of these additional features and accessories; it’s my fault that I didn’t realize they were there. With time, I may find that I will use the programs and other parts, but it will take a bit of getting used to. I gave it a five star rating because it appears to be a quality appliance and has worked well with the frying that I have done so far. If you are an adventurous cook, this will be a fun addition to your kitchen. If all you want is a simple air fryer, you might want something that is smaller with fewer buttons and accessories.

I got this to replace the Nuwave Brio 6 QT Air Fryer that I had been using for several years. It still worked perfectly – just a little worse for wear. I didn’t even realize this model was an upgrade. Boy was I thrilled when I received this and saw all the bonus features. Loved: There are a lot of accessories that came with this that work just as anticipated – the pan, extra racks, etc. they are GREAT to have and certainly add to the versatility of the fryer. The real game changers though, are the temperature probe and the grill pan. The first thing I cooked was a pork tenderloin and it came out magnificently. The probe is easy to use, and a touch of the temperature button toggles you between the oven temperature and the probe temperature. The placement of the grill pan in the oven is very high, closer to the heat source, and also lets more air flow to the underside of meats – my eliminate the need to turn them over. The air fryer also preheats much faster than my older one. Did NOT Love: My only complaint is that there is not a removable drip pan included. I used aluminum foil on the bottom to make cleanup easier. It’s great that the other parts are all dishwasher safe but the main unit is not and there is nothing but the bottom mesh basket net between drips and the base of the fryer. In my opinion, this is a very careless omission, and they do not make one for purchase. That and the very high price of replacements and accessories caused me to take one star from my review.

A few months ago, my old air fryer stopped working. It was small, so it wasn't very useful for my large family. I decided to get the Nuwave Brio 6-Quart Air Fryer, and I couldn't be happier. This air fryer is much bigger, well-built, and comes with lots of handy accessories, clear instructions, a cookbook, and a quick reference guide for cooking times and temperatures. Everything about it, from the packaging to the design and cooking performance, is excellent. If you haven't used an air fryer before, it's basically a small convection oven that circulates hot air around the food. It cooks faster, saving you time and energy, and makes food crispy with little to no oil. I tested the Brio 6-quart with my favorite fried chicken wings recipe. Following my recipe and Nuwave’s guide, the wings came out crispy and delicious without needing hot oil. The accessories in this set are great. I especially like the preheat feature, temperature probe, and grilling pan. The probe lets you check the temperature without opening the air fryer and losing heat, and the non-stick grill pan helped me cook salmon perfectly the first time I used the grilling pan in about half the time with minimal oil. I liked it so much, I made the Salmon again a few days later. The Nuwave Brio 6-quart air fryer has lots of features, cooks very well, and all the parts and accessories are dishwasher-safe. I'm very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an air fryer.
