I’m generally very pleased with the NordicTrack T5 and I give it 5 stars as a product. I love the incline feature and that the speed can go up to 10, giving me a good range for my workouts from such a compact machine. I was not expecting something as well build and powerful at this price point and size. I read that the belt can be loud for the machine size but i didn’t find that to be the case. I’m working out in the basement and my husband cannot hear it from upstairs. If I have music on I don’t hear anything. It sounds like a regular full size treadmill. The buttons are a bit tricky at first due to their minimalist design, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to track what you need (speed, length of workout etc) Im still getting used to holding down the speed buttons, it seems to jump in increments of 0.5 if I am not careful, which can be a bit annoying, but I’m adjusting to it by learning the right pressure and timing. I can’t really tell if the problem is me or the machine on that one. There is also a second way to change speeds when using the Ifit workout app, and I’m finding I like to use that more anyways. The iFit connectivity is a nice touch—with the subscription it automatically adjusts the speed and incline based on the program, which adds a lot of value to my workouts. It is so responsive and that it changes the speed and incline on my tablet in real time- no lag. I am going to look into my health insurance paying for the subscription because it was fun to have a trainer that I felt like I was engaging with. I got to work out in Croatia, Bosnia, Florence, and Utah so far! Assembly was surprisingly easy, my husband and I brought it to the basement and put it together in less than 2 hours. His main remark was how well the treadmill was packaged (which is important because of the shipping issues we had from Amazon- see below). The machine was very snuggly placed in the box with pressed wood supports and large hefty styrofoam pieces. It was also wrapped in plastic. The instructions were straightforward and there is not a ton of things needed for assembly. The items we needed for assembly were all in a yellow cardboard “sheet” covered in plastic and numbered according to step. We found watching the videos on how to assemble the treadmill especially helpful. Nordic track has some and so do third parties on YouTube. My only major complaint is about Amazon and not Nordic track. I wasn’t thrilled with Amazon's delivery service which was called CEVA logistics. I got an automated call from an area code 855 to confirm a date and time for delivery (12/16). I organized with my husband for him to be home to receive the delivery. However, it arrived early (12/9) and wasn’t delivered properly; the delivery driver called me from his cell (which was uncomfortable) and acted like it was my fault that I wasn’t home to receive it even though I told him I coordinated with the logistics company for a different date . I asked him to put it under the porch so it was covered. He left it half off the porch exposed to rain in the middle of my sidewalk on the pallet (which now I need to dispose of). Thankfully the machine wasn’t damaged when we opened it, but I contacted Amazon right away and they recognized this incident as a problem and made it right for us. While I don’t know how we could have avoided this we took pictures and contacted Amazon, and I suggest if you have issues you do the same. Overall, I’m happy with the treadmill, but the delivery could definitely be improved.

12/01/2024 UPDATE: This treadmill is still going strong and I am really loving it. There are a couple things that surprised me - one is that sometimes if I unplug it without turning it off first, it will run a calibration on the incline as soon as it is turned on again - it freaked me out the first time. I called support and they walked me through taking the cover off the motor section just to observe some lights on the motherboard. All checked out fine and the tech told me that it was common for the treadmill to do this. Another thing - and I don't mind it much... when I first start the machine and run the belt slow - say like about 1.5 - 1.9 miles an hour it seems to vary in speed slightly, however once I am up to my walking pace of 2.7 MPH it runs as smooth as silk. Since getting this treadmill 4 months ago I have lost 25lbs. I can't say in words exactly how much I love it. This T Series 5 treadmill is exactly what I was looking for in a treadmill - no frills, just a sturdy surface to walk on and a screen with metrics on it. I have PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease), which is my main motivation for buying this. Patients with PAD can generally improve the comfort of walking longer distances by exercising on a treadmill regularly, at least so I am told. Well, I tend to believe it is true because since I have been using this treadmill I can walk considerably further without pain. The treadmill was fairly easy to assemble - it took me about 45 minutes by myself. Once that was done I tried it out and it is awesome. Having this right in my home is perfect, because now I can walk first thing in the morning without having to drive to the park. I also live in the Arizona Desert so at this time of year walking outdoors isnt a good idea. I am not using the iFit on the machine. When I registered the machine there were some things about iFit that seemed shady so I didn't do it. It works fine manually by itself - don't need to waste money on any superfluous exercise program - you can burn calories without it. It is a Nordic Trac - so hopefully the brand name means something about the durability of this treadmill. I noticed they don't have this model on the Nordic Trac website - and it is hard to find any info on it anywhere really. Nonetheless I just felt better buying a brand name that had some weight to it (140lbs) as opposed to some of the no name treadmills that are 100lbs or less. I am going to get the extended service plan though because I know nothing about treadmills.

This experience review is for the T Series 5 Treadmill, the one in the picture. A lot of the reviews here seem like they are for other NordicTrack models, NOT the T Series 5. Can't say much of anything positive about this machine or the purchase/delivery process. When i ordered it, the product page said it would be delivered in 2 days. Then the delivery date updated later that night to say it was gonna take more than 10 days, which was after I was leaving town. So since I didn't wanna get this thing delivered on day I wouldn't even be home for, I called Amazon and then the delivery company, and they said to wait to cancel the order because it might get to me sooner than the provided date. So I agreed, and after a lot of calling back and forth it finally got to me the day before my trip. So I had no time to set it up and test it out. Then when I got back in town, two weeks later, after setting it up, which wasn't too hard but not too easy either, I found out it was TOTALLY defective. The control panel with the buttons barely worked. It was hit and miss, but mostly a miss. It was really hard to activate any of the speed buttons, incline buttons, the settings button wouldn't work at all and it pretty much sucked. So I contacted the iFit customer service which was weird since I thought it was NordicTrack. After going back and forth with them over email then over the phone, they had me do a video call so they could see that the control panel didn't work. They said they would send me a new control panel unit and it would ship out within a couple days, and they would contact me as soon as it did. A couple days go by, I got no word from them so I called them a couple times over the next couple days and they finally said they didn't have it in stock and would just "let me know".... And so after waiting a full week for them, I finally said 'screw it' it's going back. Amazon then arranged a pickup with a third party service that would help pack it back up in the box, since these things are impossible to re-pack, especially an item this large, and by myself. After contacting that company to make sure they would take care of that they said not necessarily, so I called Amazon again. They said it should be ok, but will make more arrangements if that doesn't work out with them. So I took the machine apart and packed as much as I could except for the main treadmill track bottom. They did show up and the guy helped me put it back in the box without too much trouble and shipped it out. That same day however, Amazon had sent their own shipping truck to pick up, which showed up a couple hours later, and I told them it was picked up already. And because of that miscommunication on the pickup, my Order page never updated with the tracking back to the warehouse, so I had to keep calling Amazon about getting my page updated to show that I actually shipped it back. Ended up never updating the page, but I finally got my refund 2 weeks later. UNBELIEVABLE!!! And iFit still has not let me know about that control panel replacement. What a junk company! As far as the machine is concerned, the track part of the machine was ok, but the machine is pretty loud, the control unit shakes when walking and more so when jogging. The display is cheap, would be hard to see in a darker room. And it was building up static electricity when I was trying to use it. I would get small shocks when touching the handles while walking. The only thing I like was size of the track and the movement of the track and how it felt under the feet.

I am an avid walker/hiker, but here in Ohio, it does get very cold/snowy in the winter. After a number of times almost slipping on ice early in the morning for walks, I decided it was time for a treadmill/walking pad. We did have years ago an older treadmill, and candidly, we rarely used it. My biggest challenge in the past was because I am used to walking/hiking outside, walking in place for 45 minutes - 1 hour was too boring for me (even watching tv/movie didn't quite help since I just kept looking at the time on when I'd be done). I happened to be on a work trip when I was at a hotel and they had a treadmill that had walks you go on with a screen, and I absolutely loved it. I decided that feature was actually key because I actually felt I was going somewhere (virtually at least). So as I researched treadmills/walking pads, the ability to integrate with a screen to do hikes/walks was key. I solely walk, so running/jogging wasn't a feature of interest. However, every walking pad I researched didn't seem to be built for durability. That led me ultimately to purchase the NordicTrack T Series. It was priced very reasonably and I have more confident in getting a well known brand that has been in this industry as long as I can remember. It also integrates with iFit, which I knew was a key feature I wanted. After using it all winter, I can say I absolutely LOVE our NordicTrack T Series as I used it multiple times/day (I walk before work each morning and at lunch). iFit is an absolute game changer in my opinion. First off, I found several trainers I really, really liked following. For example, I did the Grand Canyon Hiking Series, and here in Ohio, it is grey and cloudy a lot in the winter, and to see clear blue skies and hike with those beautiful views, I forgot at times I live in Ohio and loved those hikes. I also loved the trainer and all he shared about himself, fitness, food, etc. I've done city walks and even just yesterday did an incredible hike at the Duomo in Florence. iFit completely integrates with the treadmill as it changes the elevation/speed automatically to be in sync with the trainer. I can also increase/decrease the pace and it learns over time my fitness level. I also really like that this model doesn't come with a screen, as I simply mounted a small tv to the wall with a Roku stick, and I simply cast from my phone to the tv the iFit so I have a very nice sized screen with great quality for me to hike. Also, this treadmill is very well built, it actually is much lighter in weigh than what we had years ago, and I am confident this will last for many, many years. I share all the times with my friends how great of a product this is.

After doing alot of research, I bought the Nordic Track T-Series and don't regret it at all. It's easy to put together as a solo person and I found the instructions very clear. Do not skip steps or ignore the process. The length and width is perfect for running and walking and the incline, speed and button panel is great. The only thing with this model is you are not getting the panel that lights up for metrics. I haven't figured out how to see the panel in dim light. Otherwise, it's solid. Even though iFit is popular with many users, it's not my primary fitness tool, but it's great for people who want to train and pay for the subscription for virtual training and workout plans. At this price, this is a great treadmill especially for beginners. I love that it's not noisy and can be put in smaller spaces at home. Delivery was smooth and they placed in inside my front door where I could unbox it. I highly recommend this treadmill.

Fairly easy to assemble, it was packaged well for protection. My husband and I put it together less than 30min. It’s easily movable(front wheels) and sturdier than you would think for the build and affordable price. Incline transitions aren’t speedy but smooth. We got it as an addition to our garage gym. Doesn’t feel bulky or space consuming(although we still not set on where to have it 🤔). Cup holders couldn’t fit my tumbler but as reference the tall can of liquid death fits and has wiggle room. (Not sponsored by liquid death 😅) I got a good walk and run on it, it feels good, I don’t feel like there is hard impact on my legs/knees. So far, I love it and look forward to using it more and maybe seeing if my dog will use it 🤔. I personally don’t have interest in using the ifit subscription but cool that it’s compatible.

I looked at a lot of treadmills before I settled on this one. Originally I wanted the 2450 or the 1750 models, but I went with this one because it had a great incline comparatively, it still had the iFIT touchscreen and it was a really great price. I use it anywhere from 3 to 6 times a week and sometimes multiple times in one day and I have not had any issues other than an occasional slow Internet connection. The iFIT subscription is pretty pricey, but I bought one year to try it out and I’ve been pretty happy with the trainers and moderately happy with the pace selection. I prefer an intermediate intensity hiking and there are not a lot that go up to 2 miles or over so I would like a larger selection there but overall I would highly recommend. I did not pay to have it installed and while the pieces were easily identifiable and easy to put together the total weight was 240lbs. I did not have help, there is no way I would have been able to do this on my own, I couldn’t even get it into the house by myself. If you are able to heft the pieces, then you can reasonably set it up on your own without assistance since the instructions were pretty straightforward and there aren’t a lot of small pieces.

I really enjoy my treadmill I purchased the nordictrack T series 5.0 s. It has it's pros and cons. So I'll explain why I gave it 3 stars. First off I was worried about delivery Amazon doesn't have the greatest track record in my area with their choice of carriers. So I wasn't sure what condition my treadmill would come in. Please to say nordictrack package this thing like a beast. I mean aside from a slightly torn box cover the package was in amazing. Condition. With wood and Styrofoam to ensure a damaged free unit. The package is pretty heavy if your not a strong person I recommend you have help. The box is massive at least 7ft long and about 150-200lbs. It had me wondering did I make a mistake? But it's all wood blocks and Styrofoam that make it so heavy. Next up was assembly of my unit. The hardest part is getting the dam thing out of the box. I was by myself so it was a bit of a challenge but I got it done. After that set up was a breeze. I see some people saying it took up to 2hrs. I don't know how, dam thing is pretty much already assembled you just need to attach the arms and the console and fish through one cable. Once again nordictrack made that simple as well. They even have assembly video they couldn't have made it easier. It literally took less than 20 min. And I was up and running literally. And Once again I did this all by myself no help. Thou I do recommend you have some one to help cause it's just safer. You can damaged the cable if your not careful when your fishing it through. So on to unit it self. And let say the build quality is just so apparent. I hope it last longer than my last treadmill which I had for only a year before it broke. For reference I'm 6ft 240lbs but this treadmill doesn't even struggle. And the treadmill length is more than long enough for my stride. In fact I wish it was a foot shorter cause I live in a small apartment and takes up quiet a bit of real estate. Which is one of my cons and there is no folding this thing and putting away. Lots of room for improvement on this front. The incline feature is awesome and gives you a solid workout without missing a beat. But here is the part that makes this a three star unit and not a 5 where it deserves to be. The display is the worst I've ever used on any treadmill. How someone at nordictrack thought this was acceptable is beyond me. You can't see the dam thing when your running. It's not back lit which in itself isn't bad if you could read the info but it's horrible. And depending on your lighting you won't see anything. Or tell what info is being displayed. I understand this is a entry level unit but my cheap 100 dollar treadmill with the display on the floor was easier to read than this thing and it also wasn't back lit but they made it work. The only saving grace is if you use the ifit app which I highly recommend you do the same info is displayed in that screen. Other wise don't bother with the info. And speaking of the ifit app that is when this treadmill really shines. I hooked up my phone to my TV and it's just a amazing experience going to different locals for different runs. Really ups the work experience. I also hooked up my polar H10 heart monitor which links up no problem. But nordictrack really needs to put a list of compatible heart monitors out. With their instructions. It says it has a list but i was unable to find one. Maybe you'll have better luck. I just tried mine and hoped for the best and it worked. I can't speak to the longevity of this thing cause I've only had it less than a month. But I got it at a great price so it was a really good purchase at just over 480 bucks total.
