Bought the auger back in 2021, have used it every year since. Has held up great. Haven’t had to change the blades yet but I think I’ll do it this year. Easy to use and works very well. When I first got it and up until last year, it punches hole in the ice very fast. Good auger for the price.

This is a very well made product, and gets 5 stars from me. My Milwaukee older m18 (non fuel) was not up to the task. Several screws popped loose and I cannot reattach them. Replaced with a new fuel m18 today and it’s drilling holes lightning fast!

I've been able to use on 1 outing and drilled several holes in 10" of ice with no issues. Light wait and goes through the ice with no problem.

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical of the reviews but I have to say this ice auger works very well with a cordless drill. After seeing and using gas powered augers, which cause frustration, over the years I was interested in buying a electric auger. I would have dished out the $500-700 for a nice electric auger but thankfully met a guy using a similar drill powered auger similar to this one. Folks this is the only way to go! My drill, a Rockell 20v brushless drill, shows a thrust of 531 in-lbs. This auger recommends a minimum of 725 in-lbs peak torque so I was a bit worried I didn’t have enough power to cut through the ice. As you can see in the video the Rockwell has plenty of power. Using a standard Li-ion battery I could cut through 9” of ice very quickly. I cut several holes and there was still plenty of juice left in the battery. You need a drill with a 1/2 in chuck but could probably get a adapter if you only have a 3/8 in chuck.

Got this to replace my propane and hand crank augers. I am using a Milwaukee M18 Fuel drill to power this. No hesitation while blasting a perfect hole into the ice. Unit is nice and light weight and the blades are sharp as can be. Keep the cover on when not using to avoid bleeding all over the ice like I did. Only issue I had was the rubber strap that holds the guard in place broke at the first adjustment ball. Still can use but don’t expect much out of it. Still 5 stars tho.

This is a reasonably priced ice auger. Took it out for a test run and cuts like butter. Easg to use Instruction manual very specific on battery power requirements on my drill which I found very important.

The media could not be loaded. The unit was missing the 2in bolt that holds the cutting edge on, but for $103.99 I would expect that. Even with the minor flaws this thing cut through 7in in about 4sec. With my 18v Milwaukee Hamer drill with 8ah battery. The protective cover over the blade kind of sucks, but overall it’s a nice unit vs spending 4-500 on an electric or having to deal with smoke and fumes with gas powered.
