Comes in three main pieces and goes together without much fuss. No instructions in the box, but there's an assembly video in the product listing if you need it. The clamp handled a two-inch desk with no problem. Once it's set, it stays set — no drooping or creeping out of position over time. Sturdy and smooth movement. The arm sits low and tucks under the monitor, so it doesn't block your screen or turn your desk into an obstacle course. Built-in cable management keeps the wire out of the way. Simple screw-on to my Tonor mic without using any of the included adapters. I decided to spend the extra 10 bucks for the extra support that this boom provides and I have no regrets. I'm glad I did it. Excellent product!

I have been using and loving this boom arm for almost a year now. Sturdy, it holds weighty microphones with ease, has a nice design and fluid movement. Worked fine when I was just using an adjustable mic holder. However, the only reason I took a star away is because the last joint (where the microphone attaches) is limited to an angle, and doesn't go completely strait up or back in the opposite direction at all. It's range is limited, which means I can't use an acoustic shield I just bought for my rig because it won't sit upright on this arm. Upside down isn't really an option for me either because I need to see my screen when I'm recording. So just keep that in mind.

The Quality is quite impressive, definitely would say great for the price. Cable management system is simple to use and setup, would definitely say the durability of the nobs it being plastic would have ben great to be metallic, for the size/fit of the location it will definitely would have be within your preference and set up. But really great fit. The appearance is minimalistic and very sleek. Finally the overall durability of the item is well made and has a great feel and extremely easy installation. FOR SM7B- MASSIVE ISSUE bending the cable harshly! If you need to use this at the maximum tilted position just to get it at the right angle (based on the height of you and your setup) then it bends your cable really hard. Im referring to the piece that the mic screws onto that pivots about 135 degrees. in just a few uses, it has damaged my cable which has caused static sounds/distortion/artifacts. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR A SM7B MIC! To be clear, this setup involes me sitting at a desk thats at an appropriate height, the mic arm attached to the side of the desk and me sitting on an appropriate chair height. If you want to make this item work for you in this situation, you need to buy an extender piece which is believe is 20$. BTW it gets stuck every time I add it on and have damaged the paint with pliers. Durability feels like 4stars Cable management is 5 stars
