This is far superior to many of the gas powered augers. I will never go back to mixing gas and cleaning carbs. Put the battery on and pull the throttle. Also has reverse which is nice for cleaning out your ice hole.

This thing cuts through ice no problem. I was a little skeptical at first, but it puts my 3 year old gas Eskimo auger to shame. It is lightweight and the reverse function is great for pushing the slush down.

This is the best electric auger I’ve ever used, when I go out with my buddies, the leave there augers behind and just use mine!!! I’ve tried a lot of different setups with drills, and or drill mounts, just ended up waisting more money than this setup cost. I am very happy!!!!

I am a mom who brings my teen icefishing. He can do it mostly on his own. My husband has an electric auger too but it was heavy or he didn’t want to dig it out of the back of the garage. So I bought this for my son as his own auger. It is so light and fits in his sled perfectly. It makes it much easier to go out fishing.
