awesome ice auger! it cuts through ice like butter. I did some research on a handful of top ice auger brands and decided to go with Eskimo. I was hesitant to spend this much money on a powered auger but it has already made life easier from drilling holes with a manual ice auger. It is very powerful with the 40 volt lithium battery. This auger is so light, but cuts through the ice with ease. Unfortunately, the bolt retention collar sustained a crack on my first hole, BUT the customer service at Ardisam (Eskimo) was amazing! She was genuinely concerned about my situation and sent off a new collar the day I called.
