Its only been a couple of weeks but all eight of these are working fine. Taking off a star for the blatantly wrong installation instructions though. The app they direct you to does not allow smart plugs. ??? I used the "Smartlife" app that I already had a switch linked to, then linked it with my 'Google Home' app. Now Mama Bear has voice controlled Christmas lights! As a bonus, if we are away at sundown, we can use the phone app to turn them on remotely. How cool are we?!! ... show more

I have had ~5 of these plugs daily for several years and they are still going strong so I bought some more. I have used the plugs to control indoor grow lights, Christmas lights, humidifier, fan, and many other uses. I have several Nooie products and these have been the most reliable (I’ve had some issues with the cameras although I still like them as well). I’ve used it with Google Assistant and Alexa voice commands with the assigned name and it works well. I can fit two of them in the same outlet which is very helpful and many other brands are too big for this. It looks professional and I like the subtle glowing light on the front. The Nooie app still isn’t as good as the top name brands, but it is always improving and they have added a lot of features to the smart plugs over the years. A somewhat newer feature I like is you can have it turn on in a certain time range & then have it loop on/off during that range. I use this to turn a fan on/off during the day to help harden my plants for outdoor transplant. It also has a “travel” mode to randomly turn on to simulate someone being home. I would higly recommed these smart plugs due to size. You can use multiple ones together as well as using on a power strip without blocking other ports. Using the smart life app, pairing the smart plugs is very simple. You just hold the button on the smart plug for a few seconds until they start to rapidly blink and then just follow the steps in the app to add the plug. Great value for the price. ... show more

I always thought all Smart Plugs were created equal. Well, I was wrong. I probably have 3-4 brands of Smart Plugs and the Nooie Smart Plugs are the easiest to setup that I've seen. No funky stuff with having to go to your WIFI connections and connect to a device created network. It does use Bluetooth and I'm thinking that is how it's able to pair so easily. The setup for one of these plugs is literally 1-2 minutes. I setup 4 of them in less than 15 minutes along with modifying some Alexa Routines. I really wanted to like this plug. Very reasonable price. The size is just right. Initially, it worked flawlessly, but after 2 months, it failed to power my stuff. It did not matter what I plugged in. Reset the whole thing. Still no power. Contacted Nooie. Nooie wants me to record? Too much work for $15 item. They just could not bother to replace a faulty item. I guess I will not be buying any more Nooie products when I cannot count on them to provide a worry-free support. I guess I need to go back to Amazon plugs. ... show more
