This is an amazing pan so far. I have an induction cooktop and this pan is as good as Tramontina (which is the best induction cookware) at quick heating and holding heat and has the added benefit of being non-stick. Why they only make the two sizes I cannot imagine. This cleans up so easy and well. I have used it in the oven. It goes in the dishwasher. I would buy a whole set of it if they made it. My Tramontina is also amazing for induction, but you really need to clean it with BKF which can be a pain. So if you want the same quality heating, get the two Redchef pans and add them to your collection, they will be the first pans you reach for. This company needs to decide if they are in this business or not, two great pans just isn't enough product.

I bought this for my 87 year old mother because she had too many of those old chemical non-stick pans that I have complained about for years. I talked her into throwing those away if I purchased this pan for her. Although it was expensive in my opinion, it was worth it due to less harmful chemicals. The pan does not stick and cleans easily. The heat is distributed evenly and the pan feels sturdy and well made.

I decided to fork out more money and buy this higher-quality skillet... I've had a few non-stick skillets in my life (I'm 56) and they've all done well, costing me less than $15! THIS skillet I'm giving a review on had a special sale right after Christmas of about $48. I hate it. The non-stick lasted about 2 uses - and I did NOT crank up the burner to a high nor even a medium-high setting. It was usually on a medium heat setting. I also did NOT use a metal spatula, but use a silicone type, so I was NOT scratching the surface. AND I would wash/clean it with a sponge or washcloth. I ALSO would add a drop or two of olive oil to the freshly cleaned skillet to help preserve it -- as the directions recommend. The surface has turned gummy, black, isn't non-stick anymore, looks horrible, and to me - is now junk. Last night I used it, and in order to attempt to clean it, I let it sit for FIFTEEN HOURS with water and dishwashing liquid. This morning - NOPE - gunk and black stuff is still on it. What a waste of money. I rarely ever leave reviews, as I don't want to take the time, but I HAD to leave this very disappointing review as I'm so upset. Guess I'll spend some more money and go back to the cheap $15 non-stick skillets again.

Bought two, one for me and one for my daughter in law. Cooks evenly and we’ll, so far nothing sticks to it and is so easy to clean up. I followed directions, I put some oil or butter and started at low heat. When oil is hot or butter melted, I add whatever I want to cook and increase heat a little bit. I use wood or silicone spatula to stir. Even though the manufacturer claims it can take a lot of heat, I rather prefer to cook a lower temperature. The cooked food looks and tastes great.
