I was skeptical about buying this hose since I have never had a non expandable hose or any of the expandable kind that look flat when not in use. Being a gardener, I use hoses a lot. After years of having heavy hoses that are expensive but still kink, I started my search. I wanted light weight but quality. After reading a ton of reviews I narrowed it down to this one or a lime green major brand hose that I currently own and kind of like. But after a month with this Kettoya 50 ft hose, it has become the clear winner. Why? It maneuvers in and out around potted plants better than my other light weight hose. This one is much lighter so that is a huge plus. It has not kinked but once so far so that is a huge improvement already. I really like the swivel connectors at both ends of the hose. No other hose I have owned has that feature. It rolls up easier that my lime green hose. It also comes with the most incredible nozzle. It seems heavy for this lightweight hose, but I don't care, because the shut off feature is ergonomic and a pleasure to use. Best nozzle of any I have had!!!! This hose was definitely tipping my budget but I went for it anyway because I don't tend to splurge often and garden hoses can make me curse like a sailor if I hate them!!! In closing I definitely recommend this hose. Especially if you have a ton of plants, pots and outdoor furniture and fountains to get around. Any hose will do if you have a straight path to follow, but people like me need a lightweight hose that doesn't kink constantly. Its too early to say how durable it will prove to be, but it is definitely my favorite hose ever! Did I mention how cool the nozzle is????

It's lightweight, flexible, yet sturdy. Great nozzle that is so easy to turn off and on with a lever easy to operate so can easily turn off where you are, going from one flower bed to another. or going back to the water source. It slithers along the ground from one place to another. The choice of sprays on the nozzle is helpful also. It stores easily. OI use an old recycle bin. Bought the 50 foot length. 25 feet was too short to reach where I need to. Great value.

I originally rated this 2 stars because I had significant problems with the hose kinking. I was constantly removing one or even two or three kinks every time I moved the hose. However, I've had much less of a problem with that after using it for a bit longer. My thinking is that the hose is more prone to kinking immediately after you remove it from the package (where it's been wound up for who knows how long), and once you stretch it out and use it, it'll become more kink-resistant. With that in mind, the first few days were frustrating, but it's been pretty fine ever since.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: If you are looking for a hose that doesn’t kink and is light enough to carry around your yard, this is it. I’m a 70+ year-old woman with a large yard and very happy with this purchase of a 150 foot hose. I’m actually going to buy one for my front yard as well. As a written another review, it may kink a bit when you first take it out of the box but once it is warmed up and stretched out, it is great!!

I needed a hose for watering our front landscaping, but I needed something that was flexible and lightweight so my wife could easily use it. This turned out to be perfect for the job. Both ends are very well constructed and I imagine the hose lasting for quite some time. No leaks either. The sprayer is great and has a bunch of settings (which the wife is constantly trying) but I just use the one. Would highly recommend.

The hose connection where it meets the end that it affixes to the hose bib failed after three weeks and light duty use. Where the failure occurred, it was a clean male end that inserted into the female threaded end piece. It was hard to see how it would even stay secured...no evidence that it was crimped in or otherwise secured. I would not buy again. I'm just grateful the failure happened before the end of the 30-day return window so I could get my seventy-six bucks back!
