I bought this in November 2023 and I can say this thing is absolutely amazing!!!! I plugged it in the day it showed up and it has been used every single day since then, currently 1-23-26. I had an optima yellow top that was ran completely dead last winter and sat outdoors in my broken down truck for 2 months of winter. I thought for sure it was going to be ruined because it was literally frozen when I brought it in, but this charger literally brought it back to life and the battery is still alive today. I also have both my motorcycles and a spare battery hooked up to this 100% of the time they’re not being used and it keeps them perfectly charged. Don’t hesitate buying this, I promise you won’t regret it. What a great product. We use this for our "not so often used vehicles" in our garage. We had the issue of our vehicles not being ready to drive when we wanted to take them out for a weekend spin or up to a local car show due to drained batteries. This eliminates the issue by maintaining a full charge. The multiple ports are awesome and the extension cables make routing a breeze. The size and compact design make it look great and a nice addition to our garage. I also use it for our other lawn, atv and other batteries. Simply connect and it's intelligent system detects the battery type, size and charging needs. Shuts off automatically and will turn back on if it detects a voltage drop. I purchased this charger a few years back and it has done a great job saved some very old batteries and maintained many others, one of the banks went out a few weeks ago,so I contacted their service dept. and after a few email's I sent it into them they sent me a new unit right away, so just wanted to let other's know that they stand-by their products and how satisfy I am .I have bought several more of their charger for all my equipment that sit . Ordered this charger on prime day and finally installed it 4 days ago and everything seemed to be working well. However 2 days later port 3 is now flashing that the unit is under temperature and cannot operate. Emailed support and they say that it sounds like the unit is faulty to send it to them under warranty replacement. Kinda a little miffed that after 3 days my brand new unit needs to be replaced but at least support was fast to respond. Hopefully they are as fast to send me a replacement unit and not the 4 to 6 weeks they quoted. This unit comes with a 3 year warranty so hopefully this will not be a repeated occurance. Unfortunately because I delayed setting it up I am outside of Amazon's return/replace window. I have another charger by this company and have not had an issue with it so hopefully it's just bad luck, but only time will tell. I was impressed with the overall build of this unit and the accessories included with it but apparently something under the hood is less than optimal. Update 1: Reached out to NOCO support and they're responce was quick and efficient with an RMA claim paper. Just have to pay for shipping, which was 30 dollars to ship to the factory in AZ. So far my prime day purchase has not been the stellar deal it was supposed to be. I would have hoped that the company would have provided some means of shipment to them for a discounted rate but no dice. More updates to come. Update 2/11/23 new unit has performed as advertised and shows no signs of quitting. Despite initial unit failing new unit has been great and does a great job of keeping my motorcycle batteries up to speed. ... show more

Bought this to maintain my batteries for the boat through winter, worked perfectly! Nice compact charger, I mounted it to my garage wall above the work bench, terminal clips are moderate to heavy duty and constructed well. NOCO makes good quality products at a decent price point which is affordable.

The Genius 2x4 is great for anyone who has to maintain multiple vehicles, whether it be an off-road vehicle, collector cars, boats, ATVs... this unit is awesome! I keep my collection of cars plugged in, so that way even the vehicles I don't drive as frequently have fully charged batteries. For my use case I would have liked to see basic unit include a few extra extension cables for the charging leads, and/or ring fitting connections included instead of all of the various types of wall outlet adapters, as those will go in my spares drawer never to be used again, while I still now need to order a few extra accessories to get setup exactly how I want. My box included 2 of a single type of the included power adapters, so I got an extra of one, and didn't get another. I got the adapter that is used in my country. Which was weird, but not a deal breaker. My two issues aside, this is a great unit and I would recommend it to anyone who's a car collector to have in their garage. ... show more
