We eliminated our guest room and got a sleeper sofa as an optional spare bed for visitors. While looking around on Amazon for ways to improve our sofa bed, this item was suggested to me. I never knew something like this existed but I bought it on whim to try it out. It’s easy to use but a little bulky to move around by yourself so you may want to have someone else present to help you. It’s sturdy, prevents the springs and various support bars in a foldout couch from digging into your back. Our guests stated they slept well. Our sleeper sofa is a queen size. I didn’t measure anything and thankfully this fit perfectly. It was the exact size needed. It was actually a little longer than the mattress but he added height prevents the foam mattress from folding over the edges. When you’re done it folds up and stores easily in a closet or behind the couch. (You can’t fold it in with the mattress, unfortunately.) We kept the original box because we move a lot and I’d be concerned how it would hold up in an move without the outer box protecting it. Overall, I would recommend this product. Especially if you plan on sleeping on your sofa bed regularly. ... show more

The NobleRealm® Better Size Sleeper Sofa Board is... fine. It does make the pull-out couch a bit more comfortable, but don't expect a miracle. You can't feel the bars underneath, but it's still not terribly comfortable. Probably more of a mattress thing.... What really threw me off was the chemical smell straight out of the box—strong and unpleasant. In short: it’s marginally helpful. ... show more

Size was NOT what is advertised and was about 2 inches short on all sides as someone else said. The fabric around the board is baggy and slips when you pick it up. The photos are a complete misrepresentation of what you get - Not even CLOSE. It's thin, cheap saggy material, which I DID also see in a customer photo, but NOT what is advertised. Measure before you buy, but the dimensions fit PERFECTLY to what I needed. Covered the entire frame. The boards are lined with fabric and it has a non slip texture. It seems very sturdy and made a huge difference. I was very impressed and will likely buy again for my spare room bed. (For reference we are currently using this with a “bed in a box” foam mattress on a platform frame.) LOVE this product!! ... show more

Board thickness is less than advertised. While claiming 8mm (thicker than the 6mm “competition”) the actual thickness of the compressed wood is less than ¼” (closer to the competition) and seems flimsy. Further it is not as large as advertised, falling several inches short of the 80” claimed even stretching the fabric cover to the max. Quality control is poor, with stitching unraveling. Hopefully it will do the job and not break with the flexing of the bed slats. ... show more

Yeh, with the board's "folds" running from the head of the sofa-bed to the feet, the sofa bed won't be able to be retracted back into a sofa. So if you don't mind leaving the sofa bed opened all day... But if the sofa bed is your nightly bed, it's worth the price to have the board providing a flatter surface than putting the lightweight sofa-bed mattress directly on the springs. ... show more
