Update: I decided to try this pillow again after waking up in pain one night from the next pillow I tried. And I found a way for this pillow to help support my neck overnight. I don't try to put my head in the center head cutout. Instead, if I use the tall edge side of the pillow only, and wedge the lower corner (tallest, thickest area) in between my neck and shoulder, it's comfortable and supportive for side sleeping. Giving it 3 stars, because maybe my body just isn't the right size, span between neck, head, shoulders, etc. I woke up with neck issues one morning and thought I'd buy this. I ended up worse and in PT. I decided to ditch this pillow one day just to see what would happen. And shockingly, my neck and shoulder issues were immediately considerably better. I wish I hadn't put my neck through using this thing for a couple months.

I love this pillow because I have a bad neck and if I don't have proper neck support I get a painful krick in my neck. I havent had a krick in my neck or a headache at all. The support is firm and soft at the same time. I've found that I also get nice support for my upper shoulders as well as my neck. I sleep mostly on my back but when I wake up on my side I'm very comfortable. I wish it had come with a anti-allergen cover on it. Surprisingly my silk pillow case fits it just fine though. The pillow is well made and is holding up well. There is no smell that I've noticed. The pillow feels very plush.
