I should have known. These DC motor fans have no power to over come any breeze. I purchased two of these to replace old outdoor porch fans. I wasted my time on the first one. the bell housing slotted holes and stationary holes do not line up with the base assembly. To attempt to salvage this installation, the base was drilled and threaded to line up with the external bell housing. The instruction sheets spends its entire existance bragging about the color temp and brightness of the led light assembly. Nothing about the numbered "fan" selection switches. Even if this first unit has no torque or a defective motor or power supply, I will not bother with the second. They are going back. ... show more

A little tedious to put together with not so great instructions and a teeny weenie screw driver needed for main electrical connection. It works great but just one night so far. Wife really loves it. Lot of stuff to fail with all the features. Hope it holds up.
