I thought the set up was fairly easy but the steam pump provided inadequate heat. we tried it a few times and let it warm up without him zipping and it stayed cool and we live in San Diego where it’s warm.

I purchased the Nirvix Sauna Box primarily as a tool for staying warm and managing symptoms while sick. After testing it on the highest settings, it has proven to be a reliable way to maintain core temperature and find relief during illness. Heat Intensity & Performance I set the steamer to Level 9 for a 45-minute session. Once the unit is running, the 1000W steamer produces a deep, penetrating heat that is excellent for soothing chills. Steam Quality: The steam is consistent and reaches a high enough temperature to be genuinely therapeutic. Capacity: The 3L tank is more than sufficient for a full 45-minute session without needing a refill. Operational Timing The most important factor for use during illness is the start-up time. The Wait: It took 14 minutes to produce any steam. When you are feeling unwell and cold, this delay feels significant. Strategy: Start the unit at least 15 minutes before you intend to get in so the internal environment is already warm. Winter Utility Looking back at the recent winter storms, this would have been an essential tool for combating the cold. It provides a level of warmth that standard heaters or blankets can't match, making it a valuable addition to a home wellness setup for harsh weather or recovery periods.
