Highly recommend it over the smaller size, they have improved so much!! Pros: Bigger tank Much faster cooling 15 mins vs 30 mins, for the same amount of liquid. Auto sense - super nice, perfect slushy each time so far, without having to mess with temp, and still adjustable to your preference. Cools much better, when there’s only a serving left, the smaller one it would turn back to liquid. The cooling cylinder extends much further, and seems to be why it’s better at this. Slightly better at self cleaning since auger spins faster. Area to add liquid is bigger. The dispensing nozzle has an in between setting for emptying the cleaning water now, to not have it gush out and get every where. Has glides in the back, so you can lift the front and slide it back or forward on the counter. Cons: Bigger( obviously) Slightly more to clean. Slightly louder Doesn’t come in any standard kitchen colors, while I like fun colors, ours sits on the counter and id rather it match the other appliances. Not related, but the jolly rancher syrups are fantastic with this machine, and shelf stable.

This Ninja SLUSHI Max was a hit at our last party...even with the adults! With the Slush Assist, it was really foolproof for us. We used a non-alcoholic slushi recipe but had to cut the 1 gallon quantity back to the max fill level of 112 oz. The directions said that it could take up to an hour to come to consistency but we started out with chilled ingredients and it didn't take long at all to turn those ingredients into a slushi. When we saw that the unit was starting to run low we added a little more at a time, of the leftover ingredients to refill. The machine was able to handle keeping the slushi, well...slushi. The noise didn't disrupt our party too much. It's about as loud as an ice cream machine but not as loud as a blender. I found the unit to be quick and easy to clean. I didn't notice any cracks, crevices or corners that held onto gunk but I also didn't let any residue sit very long before cleaning. My only complaint is that Ninja did not include a storage bag. This big ticket item is marketed as a residential product but it is VERY large. It is unlikely that it would be stored on a kitchen countertop and used every day. The product box is in two pieces. The sides and top of the box lift off the base and it does not go back together unless you use a lot of heavy duty tape.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this slush machine! Frozen drinks without utilizing ice to blend and water down. The drink is absolutely brilliant! My daughter visited with her boyfriend and cousin for Thanksgiving. I had the slushy machine out and they could not stop raving that it was as good if not better than gas station slushy. Apparently that’s a compliment!🤣😍

I have zero regrets purchasing this! The speed in which it makes slushi’s or milkshakes is top notch. It’s a little noisy for my liking but the product it produces makes me look past it! It’s easy to use, worth the money with the slushi assist function and user friendly!
