I have a 9-in-1 Ninja Air Fryer, and it’s the best tabletop appliance I’ve ever purchased. I use it all of the time. When I saw that Ninja had this smoker, I had to try it. When I received it, I took two unseasoned chicken breasts and put them on the grill. I let the unit cook with the thermometer to temperature, and I added smoking pellets. I was thrilled with the result! My wife and I agreed we were on to something great! I’d never smoked a Boston Butt before, so I decided to give it a try. I had a five pound butt that I basted with yellow mustard, then covered with seasoning. It went into the smoker at 250, and I added woodfire pellets four times, once each hour. I also lightly sprayed the meat with apple juice to keep it moist each hour. After four hours of this, I wrapped it in foil and let it cook another three hours then kept it warm in a cooler for another hour while it rested. The results were OUTSTANDING! I had hoped to not end up with tough pork. My wife expected it to be good, not great. Our guests and we agreed that it was among the best pulled pork any of us had eaten, tender and juicy! The Woodfire grill makes it simple to maintain temperature, the smoke flavoring of the Bold pellets was outstanding, and I was able to easily keep an eye on things with the app. This is a device that we will use often. It was an excellent purchase! We couldn’t be happier! Get one!

I am a smoked food bbq guy and have been blown away with the results. This puts more smoke in 30 minutes on my food than my other pellet smokers and wood fired cookers do in 3 hours. We'll thought out. Super easy to clean and no open grill grate for drippings to fall through. Cold smoked cheese is excellent as well as smoked pizza. Made a better brisket than one i had won first place with on a different smoker. Stable cooking temperature delivers food faster than the wood pellet fired smokers, without the temperature swings they have trying to balance smoke and heat. negatives is the pellet hopper. Even tho it is small it's still holds more pellets than you need for a steak or burgers or a single pizza. You must fill the box for proper ignition, I bring this up because the pellet box isn't easy to remove when hot. When you are done cooking you of course turn the grill off but the pellets will continue to burn. Wish they had a little handle on the box to be able to remove them. App is excellent. Grill is sufficient in size for most items and is extremely portable. Awesome to have little bags of pellets instead of the big 40lbs. I truly believe this ended my quest for bbq smokers.

What can't you do with this?! It cooks SOOOO fast and evenly. I have smoked whole chickens, sausage, meatloaf, 9x12 pan enchiladas, eggs, bacon, chicken wings, really the list is endless! I use this in NH as my summer oven so I don't have to heat my house while baking meals or cookies. You have to play with the temp controls a little because it does cook so quick. Your first few uses you need to monitor you cook closely. After that...enjoy. I have used this for over a year now and, with the cover, have left it outside without an issue. Definitely worth the investment.

The Woodfire XL is an awesome machine, I highly recommend it, I smoked/ grill seared a Tri Tip and it is by far the best Tri Tip I've ever made and I've been cooking them for over 20 years. This has been one of the most straightforward and easy to use grills/appliances. To literally go from unboxing to chicken breast being grilled all in under an hour. The usage is so easy and the phone app feature definitely made me enjoy grilling this meal. This truly deserves higher than 5 stars.

Best purchase ever! Easy to set up. Grilled steaks last night and it worked perfect. Excited to cook on it again tonight. It's just the 2 of us but could easily accommodate food for a family of 4. Would be easy to load up and take on a trip as well as long as you have electricity

Pretty cool grill, I named it "Let him cook" on the app. Pros: Overall it has some neat functions, a major appeal was if you had to take an emergency bathroom break, you could turn off the grill from your phone in the bathroom! So how can you complain with that?! Overall build quality seems good, it has some heft to it but can still move it around. I grilled some burgers and they tasted great, the app makes it super easy to time your food just have to remember it is still hot even if you have it set to be timed. Cons: Connectivity, if you press the circular button in for a few seconds it will make you pair the grill, this is great as a first time setup but if you forget what holding that button does then you'll have to reconnect all over again and it takes awhile to do this, if you turn off the grill it will not reconnect until you do the process all over again from within the app. Potentially a big issue, the grill plate has a drain to remove the oil to a grease collection container. However a lot of the time the grease does not go to the back drain as it should, some kind of tilt mechanism should have been included to tilt the grill/cooking plate back so the grease easily flows out. Otherwise it is a pain to clean, I tried to tilt it slightly myself while cooking by placing a towel underneath the grill legs but when I was cleaning the whole thing later I saw some grease had gotten under the plate and near the heating element. This could potentially cause a grease fire. Other things: For this price it would have been nice if it came with a stand rack so you could cook more food above like a hotdog rack or something. Also it should have included some kind of cover. Update be careful if you like to put cheese on your burgers while the grill runs. I placed them then shut the lid to let it cook for just a little longer and the Grill fan blew my cheese off :(
