  • Better Quality Than Most & Value That Seems Endless
Color: Stainless Steel
I almost never leave reviews, but I was so impressed here I was left with no choice. This machine is, hands down, the best value automatic or semiautomatic espresso machine on the market right now. I've owned and tried many of them, including the creme de la creme, the Jura machines from Switzerland which run $2000 to $6000. I can't believe how many features and how much quality they packed into this machine for such a price. I honestly don't know how they did it. I got mine for less than five hundred dollars and they even threw in no interest financing for a full year. Are you kidding me? I should've bought ten of these things for that kind of a deal. You can try out the expensive ones like Jura, Miele, Bosch, etc, or the mid-range ones like Gaggia, Breville, DeLonghi, etc, or the less expensive automatics like Kitchen Aid, Philips, Cuisinart or any number of brands made in China with their company name & logo slapped on them, and you won't find a better value than the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. It just ain't gonna happen. I won't go into the details of a product testing review as you can find endless numbers of those online or on YT. Suffice to say I was blown away by the power of the pump and boiler, the quality of the grinder, the perfect and easy-as-pie milk frother, the speed and efficiency of every function, the design, and....just everything about it. If you want great espresso, perfect milk foam, fantastic drip, a capable grinder and a price that no other company on the market can even come close to with this level of build quality and performance, look no further. You've found your new machine. ... show more

  • "This One Earned Its Spot." "This One Earned Its Spot."
Color: Stainless Steel
My wife had always wanted an espresso machine without spending a fortune. The night she ordered this one, she could barely sleep. When it finally arrived, her excitement was through the roof. We've been using it regularly since it was delivered on May 29, and it has exceeded our expectations. The reality is that this is an excellent product at a reasonable price. There isn't a single part that feels cheap or flimsy. The machine feels sturdy, well-built, and refined, and it looks great sitting on our coffee bar. I think the stainless-steel finish is a great neutral color that fits into almost any kitchen. If you're looking for something a little different, Ninja offers other color options on their website. You can certainly spend more on a higher-end model, but for our family, this machine has everything we need. If you're looking for Starbucks-level speed every morning, it's capable of delivering that. However, I'd encourage you to slow down and enjoy the process. There's something incredibly satisfying about crafting your own coffee and producing a drink that feels café quality from the comfort of your home. The instructions and videos are so well done that they leave you feeling confident from day one. After a little practice, you'll feel like you could walk into a coffee shop and tell the barista, "Thanks, but I'll make my own coffee today." To wrap up this admittedly long review—because Ninja deserves it—they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Between the build quality, ease of use, and quality of the drinks it produces, this machine has earned a permanent place in our kitchen. As an Air Force veteran, I appreciate products that do what they promise, and this one delivers. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • My Morning Routine Must Have
Color: Cyberspace
Amazing machine! I love that the included accessories are kept in the machine, there are videos to guide you through using the machine right out of the box, there's a simple recipe guide sticker on the side, the screen guides you through making everything, the water and coffee tanks are completely removable for easy filling and cleaning, everything is adjustable to your taste preferences and the machine learns while it brews to better your experience with every cup! My ONLY small complaint (which honestly might just be an issue with my machine as I've seen demonstration videos where they don't have this issue) is that it is super loud when doing thin foam (the rest of the frothing settings are relatively quiet). It's not enough of a nuisance to lose a star since I don't use that often anyway. This machine is fantastic! ... show more

Excellent espresso maker and coffee maker. Easy to setup and use. Heavy and durable. This makes espresso drinks and coffee that tastes better and is less expensive than most coffee shops. The ease of use is amazing. The machine practically does everything for you. I highly recommend.

  • Bought thinking it can’t be this good, but I ended up loving it
Color: Stainless Steel
I’ve got a bad habit of overpurchasing kitchen appliances. Even great ones like the Instant Pot don’t get as much use as the allocated space should require. Enter my coffee dilemma. Tend to have coffee every day. Have stuck to single cups for the past couple decades, started with Keurig machines using metal refillable cups, alongside Nespresso original line with third party capsules. Gave away the Keurig in favor of a simple #2 “over cup” drip coffeemaker from OXO which was nice and tiny and simple. Kept the Nespresso but used rarely since it always fell short of coffee store coffee and I always buy too many capsules. Did appreciate the ability to choose exactly the coffee and caffeine level as well as quick brew and cleanup. Now to this Luxe. Priced used mint at a price that, alongside all the people raving crazy about it, decided to give it a chance to disappoint me. Fortunately or unfortunately, turns out this Ninja Luxe is actually very impressive, fun to use, and makes a pretty good latte (and probably other things if I were more motivated). So I ended up keeping it. The coffee hopper and grinder is great. Pretty easy to follow, somehow they magically tell you how much to set the grind for and it seems to work right. If I were to design the perfect machine I’d have two hoppers- one for regular and one for decaf, but that’s just me. I can grind decaf beans elsewhere and somehow finagle them into the dual holder and it seems to work well. But the Luxe weighs the coffee and manually filling it doesn’t do that. It’s a little hard to mount the coffee onto the machine, find myself having to try a few times to find the hole. Sometimes it’s pretty tight screwing it on, and other times it’s natural and easy. Usually a near perfect 2 ounces come out, but sometimes it’s only a little over one- same beans and same grind as before. That’s kind of odd, but I just pull a second shot of water through the grind. I love the frother on this thing. Really well designed, put the milk in, lift the wand and place it down, then put the wand back in. Push a button and it makes beautiful froth. Though it could have a little more foam to it, drinks tend to be light on foam even on high setting. Water bin is large enough for pulling many cups. I’ve tried making brew with the included quad cup and it’s far too strong, guess this thing is all about Americanos if you want a straight cup of coffee. But The storage, function, design of this is really a work of art. On the side is the funnel and tamper, easily accessible and stored away. I bought a third party silicone cover for the top of this for around $15 bucks, it covers everything neatly except leaves the coffee bin alone. This allows storage and even tamping to take place on top, in a small kitchen that’s handy. All-in-all, super happy with lattes and mochas every day, and this is fun to use. Not as fast as the Nespresso but close enough and the cleaning is not very involved. Main pain is cleaning the wand right, I just use a wet sponge then purge it into water in the jug. I do notice that the water tray fills up more often than expected, and pulling it out then dumping into the sink is precarious, always spill water and usually also drop the part beneath the espresso spout area. I’m selling off or donating my Nespresso machines, and I keep the OXO single cup in the cabinet for guests or my own occasional drip coffee urges. Nice thing is I can just turn on the Ninja to grind beans for the drip. Don’t think I’d have paid retail on this, but for the price I paid on a mint used one, around $300, this is a luxury that feels decadent to have available for a coffee drinker and sometimes host. Hopefully all the computer and mechanical ballet going on with this machine holds up several years, it’s something I never thought I’d spring for but happy I did. ... show more

  • Truly an all-in-one machine
Color: Stainless Steel
I love this machine! I was expecting to be disappointed as things are not always what they are hyped up to be but it is great. It is easy to use, makes great coffee, espresso and frothed milk as well as easy to clean. Also saving me a small fortune as I no longer go to the fancy coffee place because I now make my own. It fits on my counter and under my cabinets perfect. I will note that mounting the handle can be pretty tight at first but it does loosen with use. The grinder is a great addition and am very happy it is truly an all-in-one machine. I have had mine for two months without any issues. ... show more

  • Great espresso machine… but apparently it believes in hydration
Color: Stainless Steel
Purchased Jan 28, 2026, and overall this is actually a pretty solid espresso machine with some features I really like. But it also has one behavior that made me question my life choices the first few days. Let’s start with the good stuff. What I Like The built-in grinder works well and the grind adjustment is very easy to change. The machine even recommends a grind setting for espresso, which is nice for people who don’t want to play coffee scientist right away. Another thing I like is the storage design. A lot of the accessories actually have their own place on the machine, so parts like the tamper and tools don’t end up wandering around the kitchen drawer. The frother works well, and I’ve had no problem getting good foam for milk drinks. And most importantly… It makes a good espresso. Shots come out consistent, and once you dial in the grind it performs pretty nicely. Now… the thing that drives me slightly insane The waste water reservoir fills up very quickly. I’m not exaggerating when I say that after about three espresso shots, the orange light pops on telling me the drip tray / waste reservoir is full. Which means the workflow becomes something like this: 1. Make espresso 2. Make another espresso 3. Make a third espresso 4. Machine says “stop everything and empty me” So now you stop making coffee, remove the tray, dump the water, put it back, and continue. And yes… if you ignore it, it will overflow the next time. Why This Happens (Apparently) After reading about it, this seems to be normal behavior for machines like this, not necessarily a defect. From what I understand, the machine sends water to the drip tray for several reasons: • Pressure relief from the brew system after a shot • Thermal stability to maintain correct brewing temperature • Internal rinsing cycles that keep coffee oils from building up • Pump pressure management during extraction So some of the water you see isn’t “wasted” exactly. It’s the machine protecting itself and keeping the brew system clean. Still… when you start with 16 oz in the tank and see 4–5 oz end up in the waste tray, it feels like the espresso machine has a very generous interpretation of the word “efficiency.” Things People Suggest to Reduce It Some suggestions I found (and experimented with): • Adjusting the grind slightly coarser than the recommended setting • Making sure the portafilter isn’t overpacked • Running shots back-to-back instead of letting the machine idle between them • Making sure the drip tray is fully seated and sensors are clean The one that made the most sense to me was going one grind setting coarser, since extremely fine grinds increase pressure and can cause the machine to release more water through the relief system. It helped a little… but the tray still fills up pretty fast. My Comparison I’ve owned cheaper espresso machines that honestly didn’t do this as aggressively. So when it started happening my first thought was: “Is this normal? Is it defective? Is it kind of defective?” From what I can tell, it seems to be how the machine is designed, even if it’s a little annoying in daily use. Final Thoughts Overall: • Good grinder • Smart design with built-in storage • Good espresso quality • Easy to adjust grind settings • Solid frother But also: • You will be emptying the drip tray often I also use good filtered water to reduce scaling, so watching several ounces of it head straight to the waste reservoir feels a little painful. At one point I briefly considered recycling the water… but let’s be honest, that’s where we draw the line. If you’re okay with occasionally pausing your coffee session to dump the machine’s hydration program, this is still a good espresso setup. Just know that this machine apparently believes every espresso deserves a water ceremony afterward ... show more
