⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Starbucks has officially lost my business I am happy to report that I am now a former customer of Starbucks — and honestly, pretty much every other drive-thru coffee place — after buying the Ninja Luxe. First things first: there IS a learning curve. This is not a “push one button and magically become a barista” machine. You’ll want to do a little homework. Research your beans, watch a few videos, and plan on grabbing a few extras like an espresso glass/cup, microfiber cloths for wiping down the milk wand, a knock box, and obviously some syrups because we are not animals. You also have to maintain and clean the machine. Again, this isn’t a Keurig situation. BUT it simplifies the espresso-making process enough that you can make genuinely good coffee at home without needing to enroll in barista school. It took me about three days to really dial in my preferred drink, and once I did, I haven’t looked back. I’ve saved around $150 in the first month alone, because apparently when Mom stops going to Starbies, the kid also stops getting her little drive-thru treats. 😂 Speaking of kids, the steam milk setting has been a huge hit for making hot chocolate for my daughter. So it’s not just my personal coffee machine anymore. One thing I don’t see mentioned enough: you do need a little upper-body/hand strength to insert and lock the portafilter into place, and sometimes to remove it afterward. If you have significant hand, wrist, or arm weakness, that is definitely something I would consider before purchasing. Overall, if you’re willing to spend a few days learning the machine and actually maintain it, this thing is fantastic. It gives you enough control to make your drink exactly how you like it without making the whole process ridiculously complicated. My only real problem now is that coffee shop drinks taste disappointing because I know I can make mine better at home.

My wife had always wanted an espresso machine without spending a fortune. The night she ordered this one, she could barely sleep. When it finally arrived, her excitement was through the roof. We've been using it regularly since it was delivered on May 29, and it has exceeded our expectations. The reality is that this is an excellent product at a reasonable price. There isn't a single part that feels cheap or flimsy. The machine feels sturdy, well-built, and refined, and it looks great sitting on our coffee bar. I think the stainless-steel finish is a great neutral color that fits into almost any kitchen. If you're looking for something a little different, Ninja offers other color options on their website. You can certainly spend more on a higher-end model, but for our family, this machine has everything we need. If you're looking for Starbucks-level speed every morning, it's capable of delivering that. However, I'd encourage you to slow down and enjoy the process. There's something incredibly satisfying about crafting your own coffee and producing a drink that feels café quality from the comfort of your home. The instructions and videos are so well done that they leave you feeling confident from day one. After a little practice, you'll feel like you could walk into a coffee shop and tell the barista, "Thanks, but I'll make my own coffee today." To wrap up this admittedly long review—because Ninja deserves it—they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Between the build quality, ease of use, and quality of the drinks it produces, this machine has earned a permanent place in our kitchen. As an Air Force veteran, I appreciate products that do what they promise, and this one delivers. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it without hesitation.

Worth every penny!! This is by far the best machine you can get for your money. If you are not a professional in making coffee and you get your daily fix at starbucks, do yourself a favor and invest in this instead. So easy to use and the results are amazing. I recreate Starbucks drinks on the daily and the only investment you make is the initial Ninja luxe, syrups and good coffee. If you break down your numbers you will see it makes so much more sense. I promise you, you will get a pro in no time. Cleaning is easy too, just a few parts to take care of. You get a booklet that explains step by step all the set up and has awesome recipes too. I have not used the frother in my video since I ran out of milk, but it makes cold foam, thick froth and like a latte froth and you have the option to choose if you are using dairy or plant based milk. Froth turns out amazing every single time. Cold brew option is pretty good, not original cold brew good but for recreation of iced coffee drinks it tastes great and you wouldn’t be able to taste the difference. If you are new to brewing your own espresso, the Ninja takes out all the guesswork and weighting and pressure and temping etc out of the equation. It automatically adjust the grind suggestion based in the coffee you choose, beans, weights the amount of grinded beans and pulls an excellent shot every time. I thought I had good coffee before but tasting it now proved me wrong. Use coffee from a local roaster or make sure the beans are not older than 3m for the perfect result. I use the Lavazza crema and have been getting good results but prefer beans from local roaster since they are the freshest. Don’t doubt it and get yourself a Ninja Luxe you won’t regret it!

I’ve owned this machine for about 8 months and I am comparing this to my Breville Barista. It’s a great device, if you’re getting it for the right reason. I have this one in my office at work and it’s a fantastic machine. Fast, easy to use, minimal clean-up, no fuss. It does the thing. Easy to follow steps leading to fast and delicious beverages. If you are looking for something fool-proof with a variety of drink options this is absolutely for you. An average achieving 4th grader can set up and run this machine. You will not go back and you will save sooo much money in the long run getting yourself un-addicted to $7 lattes. If you are looking to tinker, tune, hot-rod or slap on a bunch of aftermarket parts, this isn’t the device for you. Go for a more traditional machine. This machine works best when you run it as is and let it do its thing. It doesn’t even have enough clearance for most puck screens, and I think it throws off its calibration. The wastewater tray is also pretty small. I empty it much more than I do on my Breville. You can make a variety of drinks in this and many are great (cold press works well) but some are more gimmicky. Regular brew coffee doesn’t taste great. Also it’s harder to use this as a dedicated on demand hot water source for tea and such. It doesn’t have a dedicated spigot for hot water. Lastly the water frothing feature is awesome, but for some reason the steam wand (which has restrictive movement and you must use the stock pitcher) the wand always dribbles on me when I’m cleaning it. I think it’s a personal problem.

I admit that once upon a time, I chased the dragon. I owned progressively more expensive grinders and espresso machines and pour-over machines...at some point, I gave up chasing fantasies and bought the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. I don't give five star reviews unless something changes my life. My friends, welcome to a five star review of the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. Every day, I awaken at 5am to get ready for my day. One of the very first things I do is make my first double-shot oat milk latte. Not every day, but often, a second cup comes around 9am. If I was paying someone, I'd be broke, and if I was doing what I used to, that would be 30 minutes. Now, it's ensuring there's water in the reservoir, beans in the hopper, and the pitcher filled with oat milk and in place in the foaming station. Then I push one button to get a perfect 18g of beans ground at the optimal setting per the system's brains - I do have to WDT, level, and tamp, as well as putting the portafilter in the unit. Then I push two buttons and walk away. A short three minutes or so later, I return to a perfectly pulled double-shot and perfectly foamed oat milk. All I have to do is assemble. While there have been a few times where I forgot to put the glass under the portafilter, this is otherwise so easy you can do it sleepwalking. So, now I get my one to two cups of coffee a day, at least as good as I'll get at the drive through run by teenagers with FAR too much energy for 5am, and while it wasn't cheap, if I simply add up all the cups I've had since I got it, it's saved me money already. Good coffee requiring barely any brains for well under $600 is a steal. SO much so that many more influential reviewers have indicated it's a shot across the bow of high-priced semi-automatic espresso machines. For 66% of the price of the least expensive alternative semi-automatic machines, the Ninja Luxe Cafe simply smokes the competition. And if you don't believe me, go research it. You'll find even James Hoffman grudgingly admires this machine. Simply put, coffee shop quality espresso drinks, requiring very little effort, making the indulgence less indulgent? Yes, please. I smile every damn day when I get my coffee!

Fantastic machine! Absolutely no issues and going on a year of daily use. It’s easy to use and makes a great tasting cup of coffee. The best part is the frother. I can make a freshly ground cup of coffee and mix half milk and half creamer in the frother and take my coffee to the next level.

Get ready for a bit of a learning curve but it's worth it. If you follow the getting started video exactly, what seems at first complicated -- you'll get used to it fast. There's a calibration process at the beginning and follow that. It sets you up for exactly the right grind with your beans. It took me into day two to feel convinced how exactly to make a cappuccino on this machine. So this morning (day 3) I flounced on out to the kitchen, chose a tap cup in case the foam went wild (it didn't but better safe) and easily make one of the best cappuccinos I've ever had anywhere. That first sip was such a relief because the beginning process seemed awfully -- not exactly complicated -- but busy. The machine calibrated the grind to 6 and if I stick these beans, it won't need to recalibrate. But if you change beans, no problem -- it will re-calibrate and tell you what number to set the grind at. (Even just typing this it seems more complicated than it actually is.) But it weighs your beans in the hopper and comes up with a number to set the grind. Started at 18 and ended up at 6. And it's right on the nose for just the right taste for me. Another great thing is for something with quite a few parts, the cleanup is fast and easy -- really crazy-easy. I love at least one and often two cappuccinos a day. This is by far the best I can imagine not only at home but it beats the heck out of many purchased not at home. I'm not going to quit going to coffee shops -- it's sort of a social life. But I'm easily done with the hit and miss of Starbucks despite the very nice baristas (sorry gang.) I hit a lucky day to shop for this -- one of the Prime BIG DEAL days -- there were only two of those days. And got this machine of $281. THAT really was a big deal. But I would have bought it at full price due to a friend's recommendation and not looked back. You could pay a lot more. You could pay a lot less. But this is a great coffee maker -- at least for cappuccino. And I'm sure for whatever else you enjoy.

This machine does a lot, and somehow doesn’t feel overwhelming. The ability to make espresso, drip coffee, and cold brew all in one setup is a huge win, especially if you don’t want three different machines taking over your counter. The built-in grinder and guided settings make it really easy to get a good cup without having to mess with a bunch of complicated adjustments. Espresso comes out rich and consistent, and the drip coffee is well-balanced. The rapid cold brew is a nice bonus and actually tastes smooth, not watered down. The milk frother works well and is pretty much hands-off, which is great if you’re not trying to play barista at 6am. Cleanup is also easier than expected for a machine with this many features. It’s not perfect, there’s a bit of a learning curve at first, and it takes up some space, but once you get used to it, it’s a solid all-in-one system. Overall, great option if you want café-style drinks at home without overcomplicating your mornings.
