I am not a Barista - just an HR Manager! But this machine makes me feel every bit of a Barista! In fact, I want tips! I come from the world of the Bunn Autodrip coffee maker, and the Nespresso Vertuo Espresso shots. Both did the job, but so many things on my counter and it wasn't appealing. I purchased this apprehensive that a full pot of coffee wouldn't be available for 2 hours at a time. But it isn't that bad. A cup brews quickly and made to order. I am working on learning new recipes and they all come out perfect. It was easy to learn the machine. I did watch a couple of videos of others using it and probably learned more from the videos than the manual. Great looking machine. Great functioning machine. I love it. But, this is a review, so I have to be honest about some things that I don't love so much. First is the water tank - I wish it held more water. I feel like I am constantly filling it. Next is the overflow holding tank at the bottom - I realized that when that orange button bobs up and down, you need to pull that out and empty it. How does it even get that much water in it? That is a once a week maybe empty task. I am using filtered water for this, so it wasn't that big of a deal, but to those with tap water, you will want to make sure you order the water filters and filter housing. It does not come with it! For the price, it should have. And it would have been nice if it came with some of the accessories that you can order too. But all in, it's still a 5-star machine.

Love this. Got rid of my Breville to make room for it. I'm really ok with it frothing the milk for me, I know some are not, but that option is always there. I like the built in tapper, I always made such a mess. The booklet of espresso/coffee recipes is a nice touch, I look at it almost every day so I can try something different. I dont remember how much it cost, but whatever it was it's saving me money! I can't remember the last time I went to Starbucks and bought an overpriced and weak cappuccino.

Buy it. It’s SO easy to use, and worth every penny. It actually will save you money. Think about it, a latte these days is $7-8 so after approximately 100 uses, it’s paid itself off. It has a QR code you can scan and it will walk you through the entire set up. The barista assist technology is always working to perfect your cup of joe. I also love that it’s multi-use; espresso, iced espresso, coffee, iced coffee, cold brew, etc. There’s also the no nonsense milk frother. I go to bed looking forward to my coffee in the morning. Buy. It.

So far it has been great! My wife uses it daily now and it has saved us a ton of money from buying coffee at a coffee stand/Starbucks. If you haven't made espresso at home there is a learning curve for sure. The tamp pressure is important to use the same "press" on the lever every time to ensure it repeats or it's going to suggest that you change your grid size every time. So if your first half dozen or so seem to bouncing all over that's probably the issue. Also lots of people say its a water hog. In our experience it is not. We don't use the steamer much but that is where the water use is really seen. To just pull shots though we get a couple days (Couple drinks a day double to triple shot) before we need to add water.

The media could not be loaded. I love this machine! After two years of researching, even trying out different machines, this one is perfect! I got the upgraded ES701 series and am glad I did. I am a big coffee ninja fan and this one replaced my Ninja Coffee Bar that I have used for years, but the water tank leaks when removed and it is harder to find parts now for that model. This machine grinds your beans, tamps the coffee by a lever, allows you to make expresso, double expresso to multiple size coffees or cold brews from 6 oz up to 18 oz large cups (remove the bottom plate for jumbo cups), froths and self rinses without disassembling. It is easy and amazing. In the video I walked my husband through the steps prior to filming and show him making his first cup of coffee. He is NOT techy! You can grind your beans or use preground coffee. This morning I used mushroom coffee. Everyone can finally be a barista! The rubber mats in my photos are not included but you can find on Amazon. I love this has a removable water tank in case your overhead cabinets prevent you from getting a water pitcher under them to fill. Our coffee bar is not near sink and this was one of the problems we had with another unit we tried with a water tank that could not be removed. It also has a side storage door to store unused expresso equipment. This unit addressed all of our wishes!! Pricey yes, the most I have ever paid for a coffee maker, but worth it!

Absolutely love all the functions this machine has to offer. Has paid off in a month fron what we spent out on drinks. Its a little big but the quality is great! Brew is fast, taste is like the coffee shop, took a min to get adjusted to all different functions but love it.

We have had the machine for 6 weeks and a bit disappointed. While nice and relatively easy to use, you never know what you will get. The consistency of water used is quite poor. This morning, my 10 0z Classico is 8 oz. Last week, I had a 10 oz Classico that overflowed the same mug as shown in pic. Guessing it was 120z+. No guidance in manual on how to troubleshoot.

Like every other Ninja product, this one was apparently sent through a lot of product testing before being sold. The whole thing is really intuitive and little touches like a groove in the water reservoir so it's easy to carry, and a notch in the drain/platform where the grounds cup fits perfectly to drain, are so appreciated. There's a lot of videos online to make learning to use this machine really easy, and I kinda love having lattes at home that taste perfect every time!
