  • Truly an all-in-one machine
Color: Stainless Steel
I love this machine! I was expecting to be disappointed as things are not always what they are hyped up to be but it is great. It is easy to use, makes great coffee, espresso and frothed milk as well as easy to clean. Also saving me a small fortune as I no longer go to the fancy coffee place because I now make my own. It fits on my counter and under my cabinets perfect. I will note that mounting the handle can be pretty tight at first but it does loosen with use. The grinder is a great addition and am very happy it is truly an all-in-one machine. I have had mine for two months without any issues. ... show more

  • "This One Earned Its Spot."
Color: Stainless Steel
My wife had always wanted an espresso machine without spending a fortune. The night she ordered this one, she could barely sleep. When it finally arrived, her excitement was through the roof. We've been using it regularly since it was delivered on May 29, and it has exceeded our expectations. The reality is that this is an excellent product at a reasonable price. There isn't a single part that feels cheap or flimsy. The machine feels sturdy, well-built, and refined, and it looks great sitting on our coffee bar. I think the stainless-steel finish is a great neutral color that fits into almost any kitchen. If you're looking for something a little different, Ninja offers other color options on their website. You can certainly spend more on a higher-end model, but for our family, this machine has everything we need. If you're looking for Starbucks-level speed every morning, it's capable of delivering that. However, I'd encourage you to slow down and enjoy the process. There's something incredibly satisfying about crafting your own coffee and producing a drink that feels café quality from the comfort of your home. The instructions and videos are so well done that they leave you feeling confident from day one. After a little practice, you'll feel like you could walk into a coffee shop and tell the barista, "Thanks, but I'll make my own coffee today." To wrap up this admittedly long review—because Ninja deserves it—they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Between the build quality, ease of use, and quality of the drinks it produces, this machine has earned a permanent place in our kitchen. As an Air Force veteran, I appreciate products that do what they promise, and this one delivers. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • Exceptional Coffee!
Color: Cyberspace
This Espresso Maker is so beautifully designed! Our daughter-in-law was a barista for a couple of years and she raves about the quality of the coffee. It looks a little intimidating at first, but the videos and instructions are excellent and within no time it will be second nature to you. The machine is able to sense a lot of what needs to be done and guide you through the process. The only "wish" I would have is that during the cleaning process, you need to vacuum out the burr grinder which is a bit of a hassle. But for this level of quality coffee, it is worth it! ... show more

  • Fantastic for casual use. Not for hot rods.
Color: Stainless Steel
I’ve owned this machine for about 8 months and I am comparing this to my Breville Barista. It’s a great device, if you’re getting it for the right reason. I have this one in my office at work and it’s a fantastic machine. Fast, easy to use, minimal clean-up, no fuss. It does the thing. Easy to follow steps leading to fast and delicious beverages. If you are looking for something fool-proof with a variety of drink options this is absolutely for you. An average achieving 4th grader can set up and run this machine. You will not go back and you will save sooo much money in the long run getting yourself un-addicted to $7 lattes. If you are looking to tinker, tune, hot-rod or slap on a bunch of aftermarket parts, this isn’t the device for you. Go for a more traditional machine. This machine works best when you run it as is and let it do its thing. It doesn’t even have enough clearance for most puck screens, and I think it throws off its calibration. The wastewater tray is also pretty small. I empty it much more than I do on my Breville. You can make a variety of drinks in this and many are great (cold press works well) but some are more gimmicky. Regular brew coffee doesn’t taste great. Also it’s harder to use this as a dedicated on demand hot water source for tea and such. It doesn’t have a dedicated spigot for hot water. Lastly the water frothing feature is awesome, but for some reason the steam wand (which has restrictive movement and you must use the stock pitcher) the wand always dribbles on me when I’m cleaning it. I think it’s a personal problem. ... show more

  • Ninja to the rescue.
Color: Stainless Steel
Do you want a good cup of coffee? This is the machine. First time buying one of these machines. I was a little nervous at first. I bought the stainless steel Ninja Espresso machine. I’ve been using it for two weeks. I absolutely love it. The machine I used before used K cups and and that was getting old fast. With fresh coffee beans the coffee is delicious. The machine fits perfectly on my rolling cart. It takes maybe five minutes from start to finish for my caramel macchiato in the morning. And the temperature is perfect. The thing that I love the most about this machine is it comes with a video on how to help you to use it for the first time. It’s very simple to use. Of course I’m still getting used to it, but it works beautiful so far. It’s a well-made machine. If you’re looking for a good espresso machine for the first time, I recommend Ninja. ... show more

  • Better Quality Than Most & Value That Seems Endless
Color: Stainless Steel
I almost never leave reviews, but I was so impressed here I was left with no choice. This machine is, hands down, the best value automatic or semiautomatic espresso machine on the market right now. I've owned and tried many of them, including the creme de la creme, the Jura machines from Switzerland which run $2000 to $6000. I can't believe how many features and how much quality they packed into this machine for such a price. I honestly don't know how they did it. I got mine for less than five hundred dollars and they even threw in no interest financing for a full year. Are you kidding me? I should've bought ten of these things for that kind of a deal. You can try out the expensive ones like Jura, Miele, Bosch, etc, or the mid-range ones like Gaggia, Breville, DeLonghi, etc, or the less expensive automatics like Kitchen Aid, Philips, Cuisinart or any number of brands made in China with their company name & logo slapped on them, and you won't find a better value than the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. It just ain't gonna happen. I won't go into the details of a product testing review as you can find endless numbers of those online or on YT. Suffice to say I was blown away by the power of the pump and boiler, the quality of the grinder, the perfect and easy-as-pie milk frother, the speed and efficiency of every function, the design, and....just everything about it. If you want great espresso, perfect milk foam, fantastic drip, a capable grinder and a price that no other company on the market can even come close to with this level of build quality and performance, look no further. You've found your new machine. ... show more

  • I don't really DO 5-Star reviews, but...
Color: Stainless Steel
I admit that once upon a time, I chased the dragon. I owned progressively more expensive grinders and espresso machines and pour-over machines...at some point, I gave up chasing fantasies and bought the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. I don't give five star reviews unless something changes my life. My friends, welcome to a five star review of the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier. Every day, I awaken at 5am to get ready for my day. One of the very first things I do is make my first double-shot oat milk latte. Not every day, but often, a second cup comes around 9am. If I was paying someone, I'd be broke, and if I was doing what I used to, that would be 30 minutes. Now, it's ensuring there's water in the reservoir, beans in the hopper, and the pitcher filled with oat milk and in place in the foaming station. Then I push one button to get a perfect 18g of beans ground at the optimal setting per the system's brains - I do have to WDT, level, and tamp, as well as putting the portafilter in the unit. Then I push two buttons and walk away. A short three minutes or so later, I return to a perfectly pulled double-shot and perfectly foamed oat milk. All I have to do is assemble. While there have been a few times where I forgot to put the glass under the portafilter, this is otherwise so easy you can do it sleepwalking. So, now I get my one to two cups of coffee a day, at least as good as I'll get at the drive through run by teenagers with FAR too much energy for 5am, and while it wasn't cheap, if I simply add up all the cups I've had since I got it, it's saved me money already. Good coffee requiring barely any brains for well under $600 is a steal. SO much so that many more influential reviewers have indicated it's a shot across the bow of high-priced semi-automatic espresso machines. For 66% of the price of the least expensive alternative semi-automatic machines, the Ninja Luxe Cafe simply smokes the competition. And if you don't believe me, go research it. You'll find even James Hoffman grudgingly admires this machine. Simply put, coffee shop quality espresso drinks, requiring very little effort, making the indulgence less indulgent? Yes, please. I smile every damn day when I get my coffee! ... show more

  • Love this machine!
Color: Stainless Steel
I purchased this machine while I was still living in Europe and had it stored at a relatives house. I moved back this past May and when I was finally able to use it, I was not disappointed! It makes great espresso which is why I bought it. I love that it helps dial in the correct grind size for the beans you’re using depending on what type of drink you’re wanting to make. The frother is great in my opinion as well and gives consistent results. Brew speed is decent, but I have not tried using the coffee option. Definitely keep in mind what type of beans you use. I bought a bag of beans from my local grocery store and the machine kept giving me the code to refill the bean hopper after I had already filled it. I swapped out the beans for a different brand and it started working just fine. Ninja says that the machine is designed to use beans that have a roast date listed on the packing of the beans you buy. Although I have not used blonde or light roast beans, medium to dark roast beans are going to be more ideal for this machine. One con I can think of is that I feel the temperature is not hot enough when I’m drinking my espresso. It doesn’t need to be extremely hot, but I feel like it could be a little bit warmer than what I’m getting. This is after me using the medium and high heat settings on the machine. Cleaning and storage of accessories is also easy and convenient as there is a little door on the right side of the machine to store portafilters and the tamper/funnel on the left side of the machine. Overall, I give the machine 5 stars as it is a great machine for someone wanting to make those fancy coffee shop drinks at home to save money. **Update** I brought my review down from five stars to three. Recently what I’ve been noticing after changing my beans, the grinder will not fill the portafilter properly like it did when I first bought used the machine. I thought initially it was a one off, but it does it sporadically and my shots are starting to become inconsistent. I don’t want to dislike the machine, but that’s where I’m heading. Unfortunately, I can’t request a refund because it’s way past the return window so I’m stuck with a machine that works when it feels like it. I was excited for this machine because I was looking forward to having great espresso/coffee and no guess work, but all I do is guess and tinker with the machine trying to get the grind size right. For all this, I could have gotten a classic espresso machine which is what I’m leaning towards just doing. It’s still a decent machine, but could definitely use some updates if they come out with another generation of this product. ... show more
