Description

Having perfected the espresso brewing process, JURA optimizes extraction time with the ENA 4 espresso machine and its signature Pulse Extraction Process. After grinding the coffee beans for utmost freshness, the espresso machine delivers hot water through the grounds at short intervals, a process that allows the coffee flavors to develop fully. Programmable for coffee strength, the machine includes four preprogrammed coffee specialties: Espresso, Espresso Doppio, Coffee and Coffee Doppio. Beautiful machine, but unfortunatelly worked for only 6 weeks. Support hotline is always busy, when I finally could talk to someone was informed that "reseller was not authorized", no warranty in this case, and should spent $309 to have it fixed. Total absurd. This machine is the best, i had a Breveille but it was too much work and i could never get the espresso quite right, plus i also wanted to have a regular long coffee with my espresso..after that i got a Nespresso machine, really didn't like any of the flavors..my favorite coffee is Ilys and i decided time to try something that quick, gives you fresh coffee and is convenient with no guessing. I got the Ena 4 because it has all the features you need at a great price, espresso, double espresso, Long Coffee + you can buy any frother to make the milk..i use my Nespresso frother for that. The Ena 4 is very simple and easy to use, no mess, no fuss..and a perfect espresso or cup of coffee every day! ... show more

Just received our second machine yesterday after purchasing the first one in September 2022. First one had been performing just fine and then all a sudden the grinder just quit. Before that purchase we had the ENA 9 which lasted about 10 years due to my husband having to take it apart and clean it about every 6 months. We knew how bad the customer service was so didn’t even bother calling them when the 2nd one quit. This time we bought the 4 year warranty. Too bad a company that makes such good machines can’t have better customer service. We love it and it makes great coffee. ... show more

While this machine is more expensive than buying a capsule-based Nespresso machine, the savings from being able to use your own beans make it well worth the investment. You can expect a bit more maintenance effort in having to dump out used grounds periodically and empty the drainage pan - but overall it’s minimal compared to something more hands-on like the Breville Barista machines. I’ve heard from friends that their Jura machines tend to last a very long time. Too soon to rate reliability, but I’m certainly happy so far. My only gripe is that the clearance for your cup is quite low, if you tend to use tall cups you’ll have to brew into something shorter and dump into your preferred cup. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Water reservoir arrived broken but I called Jura and received a replacement in a few days. Machine works well and the color is so aesthetic!

    • Died within 6 months. Repaired for $$$ died again within 3 months.

We used to own the old Jura J5 bought back in 2007 or 2008. That workhorse lasted close to 15 years in a 6 person coffee drinker office. So naturally, I went back to the same brand. We've never used the milk/frother option so we opted for this model. When this machine worked, it made wonderful fresh coffee and espresso. After 6 months, it would only pour 1 oz of bitter liquid. The grinder didn't sound right. We went through a couple cleaning cycles but it would only make 1 acceptable cup then went back to the small amount of bitter vile. Unfortunately we purchased from a non authorized reseller here. So, no warranty. Getting a hold of Jura took 2 weeks. They must have a very few people working the lines. You just have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Paid about 1/3 the cost of a new machine. Waited a week to get the machine back. Died with the same problem within 3 months. Never again Jura. Bought a different machine that has a name similar to a preparation of butter and garlic shrimp. ... show more

I don't know about blending power, flavor or if it is easy to clean. I followed installation instruction step by step and during the process discovered that machine heavily leaks the water. Before I realized most of the water tank was all over the countertop and the kitchen. Little leaflet informed me that the machine was thoroughly tested before shipping, good to know. Whether it is a quality control issue or product quality in general, the damage was done, I don't believe Jura (ENA4) coffee machine is a good investment and I will spend my $1000 on other brand. ... show more
