A lot of gadgets like this use built-in rechargeable batteries, and recharge with USB. The problem is that once the battery's life is over, the unit becomes trash. This frother takes regular batteries, which means the unit should last quite a bit longer!

YAY! I'm so happy i can make my creamer frothy and yummy like whipped cream. This Frother thickeness the cream and is so easy to use. Just pop a couple of batteries in and good to go! Press the one button on the front and let it whirl. Cleansing this thing is easier than washing your hands. Ive bought two of these and the button has never failed me. the only thing that has broke was the wand it self but that was after months of use. This Frother does not stand so you will need a place to leave it when not using it.

This frother is nice because the button has to be pressed for it to spin. This makes it more able to be controlled. Other frothers stay on afyer you press the button, making it likely the liquids get spun too fast and spills happen. This one allows for more control. However, I have had to buy 3 if them, as they are very easily broken, if they get wet or dropped. The lower price point ($4.99) makes it feel less upsetting when it needs to be replaced. However, Ive seen them sold at a much higher price point ($10-15) which seems high for a kitchen tool that is easily damaged.
