I was very nervous about buying an all-in-one product as there is a lot that can go wrong ... for example if the grinder fails, does the whole unit stop working? So I went into this with some skepticism. Ive had this thing since Feb, so about 6 months, and I cant rave enough. I was just cleaning it and told the Mrs that this may be the best purchase we've made in years. I am the kind of person that takes really good care of my things, so I do the biweekly cleaning and maintenence that a lot of people would not do, but even so I am absolutely AMAZED at the quality of the build and how consistently perfect the shots taste, especially after 6 months. Ive come to to appreciate the ease of use and consistency so much that I now skoff at videos describing great techniques for making espresso. Ive even tried deviating from the recommended grind values only to have the shots come out wrong and always go back to the grind the machine suggests. The ONLY minor issue ive had is that the little float to let you know the drain is full is getting stuck and doesnt always notify you that its full, so extra care is needed when cleaning this to ensure it can lift properly without friction. I generally dump the water as I use it so it doesnt become a problem, but this thing gets used 4x to 6x a day (by several people) and its absolutely held up. The little rubber gasket that you unscrew a thing to access and remove to clean is also still in perfect shape. Very good quality product. We have really good water here (not very hard) so ive only had to descale it once so far ... so take that into consideration. The frother is fantastic, particularly with cold foam, and I love that you can use it in 'manual mode' if you desire, but Ive never had to as the automatic setting work great.

This works so well. I will recover my investment in less than three months as i don't have to spend so much everyday. I love the consistency of the brew. I have tried various beans and if you follow the instructions to the letter, you will get great shots every time. Its easy to clean and maintain. The Resevoir holds plenty of water so less refills . The frother works great at all settings. I have also made Drip coffee 10/10, Cold Coffee 10/10 and Lattes, and More. Greta product.

My little home cafe is complete! As my dietary needs have changed, I need full control over my *daily* mocha frappe ingredients; milk, sugar, etc. Sometimes my orders are wrong and it can be really frustrating having to be so specific. I’ve never owned anything more complicated than a pour-over Bunn. This is a very user-friendly machine. Going through the setup to calibrate it gives you an easy routine. It can take some muscle to lock in the portafilter. It’s heavy, but I have to brace the whole machine to turn it. Now that I’ve gone through a full bin of beans, I have to say it’s giving the best coffee drinks I’ve ever home-brewed. The little recipe book was all I ever needed. Cold brew is my current obsession and I looooooooove getting to make lactose-free half & half froths. It’s one of my favorite features of this machine, excellent design. I make hubby his regular drip-coffee & both of our morning drinks are perfect temperature, each ground & brewed flawlessly. Our local bakery is really going to miss us!

I got this in and loved it for a week until it stopped working. It would start brewing and then halfway through making a coffee it would stop and show “Er 14” on the screen. Tried everything I could and then finally found error codes on ninjas website and all it said was to call customer service who made me do a video call and then said I would need a replacement. This wasn’t the end of the world but I’m really frustrated because they won’t send a new one until they get this one back and inspect it so at the moment I’m out $500 and I can’t even make coffee. Will update once I get a replacement but who knows when that will be. Update - I was able to get a replacement after trying to return at multiple fedex locations and all told me they couldn’t accept it (apparently I needed to go to an actual fedex office and there’s not one within 59 miles of me) so I called customer service and got a very helpful representative who let me do a video call and cut the power cord before sending me another one. I’ve had it for about 10 days and have been very happy with it. The auto recommendation for brewing are nice and make dialing in your shots very easy. The milk frothing isn’t bad, it’s nice for quick but it doesn’t give the same results as frothing it yourself (which you can do with this machine). I’ve enjoyed being able to maw espresso, drip, and cold brew all with one machine. The only complaint I have is that since this has a built in screen you have to reach in there and wipe it off after each use.
