The key negative here is the weight. This is going to be a problem for a frail, elderly person to use. I have never seen a pan so heavy before. The key positives here are first, the heat distribution is incredible. I never realized what a difference that made until I tried this. The old (granted dollar store) pan would have things like a grilled cheese sandwich cooked darker towards the center of the pan than at the edges if I had two going at a time, such that they can’t be centered. This does not give me that problem at all. Second, the lid is really good. It, like the pan, is heavy, which is nice when things are trying to bubble over. I never said I was a good cook. I’m not saying it doesn’t leak. I’m saying it leaks less. Yes, I know, turn down the heat. See aforementioned I’m incompetent in the kitchen. Third is how easy it is to clean up. Have I mentioned I’m a bad cook? I burn stuff. A lot. This is great at not sticking and making it easy to clean up my disaster of the week. The thing to keep in mind here is not to use cooking spray. All the nonstick pans say this. Everyone I know ignores it. It matters. The stuff erodes the coating. You don’t want to eat eroded coating, right? Don’t use cooking spray. This has such a good nonstick coating it really doesn’t need it. Overall, I love this. It’s so good I might take a cooking class and not embarrass myself in front of the nice pan.

We've Had This 8" Pan For Over A Year, and it is among the best pans EVER. Used every day and Still Like New. It cleans up in a snap !!! Use ONLY those bright colored, regular cellulose kitchen sponges - never a D_bbie or "Bourbonbrite" scratchie pad. If you clean it right after use & cooling, nothing sticks (except maybe on the rivets, which clean up easily with some judicial use of a fingernail). If you happen to let it rest overnight, it cleans up beautifully with 10 minutes soaking -- everything comes RIGHT OFFwith a sponge, dish washing liquid, and water !!! When cooking, you need to treat the pan like a cast iron pan and LET IT WARM UP for a minute or two, or you won't get the best-est results. Have a little patience and add just a smidgen of oil or fat -- no need for cooking spray at all. If just you nudge whatever you're cooking with a spatula, it'll slide off the pan in a heartbeat. You will get a light patina on the underside of the pan with age, but no baked on brown/black guck like aliminum or cheap stainless pans. You can use a cleaner only on that to make the surface like new again. We fnally bought all three sizes and LOVE them. Let me be clear ..... I hate washing pots and pans (I do them to help my wife) .....but these pans are "almost a joy" to wash. Way better than cooking on your car engine block . LOL Will buy for my daughter and son-in-law, and again for us if they ever wear out !!!

TLDR: Great pan out of the box but let's see how long it lasts. I was looking for an oven safe pan and saw this had great reviews. When I first opened the Amazon box, it was pretty light weight and smooth so it seemed promising. I did make a newbie mistake and forgot to look at the size of the pan so it was a little smaller than I was hoping for. The pan itself is amazing so far. It heats up quickly and the non-stick works flawlessly. And no issues using it in the oven as advertised. I did just notice one thing. We used it maybe twice so far (bought this at the beginning of the month. Now it is the end of the month) and the edges are scratched/peeling already. We've been handwashing it so we can't blame it on our dish washer. Again, so far it's only the edges so it doesn't affect the non stick or our cooking, but I just hope it doesn't start rusting or peeling more from there.

This pan works just like advertised, making the best steaks, with the least amount of clean-up afterwards. The pan I was using was a pain in the neck (and other parts of the body). After use, I would soak it in hot sudsy water for an hour, then pull out my scrubber sponge, then my scrub brush, in a futile attempt to try to clean it as best I could, with as much elbow grease as I could muster. Hubby wanted me to throw it out -- so I ordered this one. What a difference! Not only does it NOT need soaking, but it comes clean with a simple wiping! I use it constantly, and I LOVE IT.

I LOVE THIS PAN! I've been using it now for 1-2 years and the non-stick coating has proven bulletproof and is still intact. I really enjoy the depth (about 3 inches) as it can accommodate a lot of food (great for stir-fry). The bottom of the pan has not warped like many others that I've tried which is nice too. Can't be happier (about a piece of cookware anyway).

The photo provided was my first attempt at frying an egg without any oil, spray vegetable or coating of the pan at all. The results clearly were awful. I have tried many, many non-stick pans and none of them function the way they are advertised. They all require some sort of coating prior to use. The is a well manufactured pan but it is no better than pans I have purchased at a third of the price.

I've used it a bunch of times and discovered that nothing sticks IF YOU PREHEAT THE PAN for 3 to 5 minutes. I use an induction hot plate on 5 (medium) for 4 to 5 minutes then crack the eggs into it, wait 1.5 to 2 minutes, flip it (it's not sticking at all), then 1 to 2 minutes. Times depend on how you like your eggs cooked. Anyone who has sticking eggs did not preheat long enough. If that's the problem you're having give this 4-5 minute preheat a try. I'm sure you'll be happy again. Best pan we've ever had. Don't have to worry about over heating it much either. Follow the included instructions. It's the bees knees!!
