Lessons learned: 1) buy a 95” curtain for a 8 ft ceiling. It should touch the floor and the ceiling. I bought 84” and regret it. 2) buy at least 3x the window frame width. Mine was 75”. Therefore I should have bought four panels, 70 x 95. This is a huge curtain, very thick and nice quality at an unbelievable price. I only wish that the grommets were metallic. I hope that the labor used was not exploited. The blackout effect is very good when using a wraparound blackout Amazon Basics curtain rod.

First, let me start by saying I left a couple inches at the bottom so they wouldn't gather cat hair haha I'm a revolving shift worker - some days I work 6a-2p, some days I work 2a-10a.. so I need darkness when I'm forcing myself to sleep at 4 in the afternoon. That being said, I am EXTREMELY picky about blackout curtains - if they say "blackout" they MUST block most of the light. The gaps at the bottom are my choice since... you know, cats. I purchased these Lavender Pink curtains to block out the light coming in from my sliding glass patio door, and as you can see from the pictures there a slight hint of light coming through the fabric (my door is facing NE, and it's currently 4:30p). I'm honestly impressed. I can tell it's also taking the edge off the noise from outside and cutting back on some of the heat coming in as well. Also, the pictures don't do the color justice - it's very much a light rosy pink. I'd say they're a couple steps away from being pastel. TL;DR? Get them, they're legit!

These curtains are really well made, they are lined with a nice heavy black fabric. We ironed them because they had creases which we expected and it wasn’t a big deal at all! They are blackout and thermal so they help control the temperature and light in your room in a huge way! We ordered some cheaper ones first and ended up sending them back because of the quality. Just ordered 6 more because they make such a difference in the room temperature and electric bill!

I have looked and looked for true blackout and thermal curtains. Many claim to be but are not lined. These are thick curtains with a black liner sewen to the back. I hung a couple of panels next to my old curtains and what a difference! I could fully see light through the old curtains, but nothing through these. And when I pull the curtain back on a warm day, I can feel the temperature difference. They are a little wrinkled out of the package (to be expected). I did not try to iron them, but the wrinkles have not hung out. I am fully satisfied with these curtains, just wish they came in nice patterns.

So I bought the Eclipse ones from the store, and it didn’t block out the light very much. And since the price was similar to these ones, I decided to buy these curtains! I love the softness of the fabric and I was so surprised that all light was blocked out. My entire room was pitched black. I recommend these better than the ones that you get at other stores. I plan to buy another one in a different color.

I got one of the longer curtains because the window I needed covered is pretty tall and wide about 10 ft wide or so. Well once this was put up not only did it completely black out the room but also has noise reduction. The back side is black the front side is white or whatever color you get it. At night we can’t see anything through it unless the curtains are split. The length of the curtain is long as well also and there was a lot of slack left so I’d say the measurements here are accurate.
