I was afraid of getting this because of the number of complaints that I read, but I knew that I needed it when I was going to be outside. The thing that I noticed was that there were foam pads at the bottom of the dome. It is those that make it fit snug onto my machine and there is not vibrational sounds or problems! I'm quite glad that I got this now and if they continue to put those pads on the bottom of the dome, there shouldn't be any more complaints about fitting on correctly or not and especially about any vibrational sounds. Fits perfectly but if you get the plastic mesh for inside the bowl you need to use the metal clips for the mesh and not the plastic ones. Will not fit over the plastic clips. Top vibrates a lot, very noisy so you have to figure out a way to keep it from this. Other than vibration it is a must for the cotten candy machine. I have used machines without one and it is very messy so if you are getting a cotton candy machine you really need this dome.

This bubble shield worked to keep the cotton candy from flying all over the place. However, it was a little loose, rattled and moved around the top of the machine. We were able to correct this by putting tape over the top rim of the cotton candy bowl which made the bubble shield fit tighter.

Bought for my vivo and its great. Snug fit with the bumpers and i got way less cotton candy on me then without but still was coved i am thinging its a learning curve with the dome but its great!

This does not fit the vortex machine, it is slightly too big and it vibrates, rattles very loud and rotates all the way around the bowl from the vibration. It also does NOT stop the floss from coming out of the bowl it still flies out and all over. I ended up ordering the net to go around the bowl to see if that eliminates the mess. For this amount of money this should fit and floss should not be flying out. I am not sure who said the thing snaps into place because the way it is made there is no way it can snap onto anything as it just sits on top nothing allows it to snap.
