The media could not be loaded. This product isn’t worth your money or your time (trying) to put it together. It’s true, you get what you pay for! I used a pair of vise grips to keep the metal box springs from falling off the bed rails. That didn’t work because I hurt my legs getting out of the bed from the vise grips. One more thing! The metal slats kept falling off under the bed after over 2 hours putting this together. I’m requesting a refund!

Almost bought a more expensive box spring from Ashley’s or Bob’s, then ran across this one. Was more inexpensive and because of that I was a bit skeptical in purchasing. Read all the reviews here and liked what I saw so I purchased. Twin size. This item is exactly as described in pretty much most of the reviews. At first I thought I was doomed seeing all the pieces and thinking I wouldn’t be able to assemble this. But to my surprise, it was not difficult at all. Came with the tools you need so you do not need anything else. Followed the instructions it came with and was finished in about 25 mins. Covered it with the cover it came with and placed it on the bed frame. Perfect fit and looks great.

This is the first box spring fame that I've owned that required assembly, and I was quite sceptical about the purchase. I read some mixed reviews regarding the assembly as well, but traditional box springs just seem difficult to find these days, so I reluctantly made the purchase. Firstly, the assembly was an absolute breeze! I was back in my bed, atop my newly assembled box spring, in about 20 minutes. I will say that the instructions are little more than some pictures, so if you are not a "visual learner", or you completely lack any mechanical knowledge, then you may be better off with something else. For the people out there that have even the most basic mechanical/problem solving ability, you should find this to be an extremely easy assembly. That said, I also looked at some similar items that were tool-less assembly, and decided against it. My reasoning is that fasteners can be tightened as wear occurs, but things that snap together will just wear out. This gets to the next thing I really like, which is the noise level. NONE! It makes no noise at all, and with fasteners that I can tighten, hopefully it stays that way. Lastly is the comfort that I had no idea I was missing from my mattress. It's amazing the difference a solid base makes for my old mattress, I really think I could keep this old girl for another 5-10 years. Very happy so far, but we shall see how it holds up after a few break-in sessions.
