I purchased this T4Tream 5-drawer chest of drawers to replace a chest of drawers that I bought at auction. This dresser is solidly built for a pre-pack item and the instructions were highly readable and easy to use to assemble the item. The instructions were very good with good assembly diagrams which kept me from making errors while putting it together. It DOES take a long time to assemble, but I would rather take my time and do it right the first time than try to rush the job and possibly have to take it back apart to fix it. I am a “pre-pack veteran” as I have put together many different types of these pieces of furniture in my lifetime. I’m 55 years old and have some hand/wrist issues, but was able to assemble this item in around 4 hours working all alone in a slightly cramped area. The finished product looks good and is the closest match I can find to a headboard I bought from a different source. It IS pressboard covered in a decorative finish paper and not the equivalent to solid wood and dove-tailed drawers, but then the same item in “solid wood” would have cost me between $500-1000 and would not have been the “look” I wanted in my room (nor could I find all the pieces I wanted available in the SAME finish in solid wood…yes, I looked!) Time will tell, but the drawers slide well, it stands sturdy, it looks good in my room, and at this point I am very pleased with it and its sibs (I bought 2 nightstands, one chest of drawers, and one dresser.) I am putting them together slowly, one per weekend if I can fit it into my schedule. I’ve put together one nightstand and the chest of drawers so far. The nightstand took longer than the chest to assemble, so practice makes perfect! The boxes were packed well and managed to keep everything protected DESPITE my local UPS driver just “tossing” them into the yard SEMI-close to the deck steps (after which I had to single-handedly flip end-over-end / walk / slide the boxes up the steps onto the deck and into the house). So far, as I’ve opened boxes, nothing has arrived broken or chipped. The only caveat to my review is that if you buy, be sure to take note of the size measurements for drawer interiors and make sure they will suffice for what you want to put in them. I did not, and found that the inside measurements of the drawers were smaller than the size of the drawers I was replacing. This is definitely NOT a fault of the product; it is just a fault of the person BUYING the product. I didn’t compare. It still would not have changed my choice of purchase as I wanted to replace my $15 yard-sale and auction mish-mash of piecemeal bedroom furniture with something a little more “refined” and coordinated in appearance. It was just a “Oops! I guess I’ll have to thin out my sock collection a bit!” error on my part. My only issue with these is that I have had ONE of the decorative screws holding the decorative metal pieces on the nightstand that was missing. I just switched one of the screws on the side to replace the missing front screw for the time being so it doesn’t show. When I get a chance, I will contact the company and see if they can send me a replacement screw. I’ll update the review based on their response. I'm pleased with my dressers. It was easy to put together and i am happy with the look minus the stupid black metal bottoms that are for front bottom of it, so i took them off.

With almost THREE HUNDRED puzzle pieces (including dowel, cam bolts, cam locks, wood screws, etc) it took this 72 year old man a VERY LONG time to assemble - YES, the instruction pages are critical to the success of the assembly, down to using a magnifying glass to orient the black wedgies which definitely helped stabilize the piece. Went and bought some Gorilla wood glue to augment the small tube of glue supplied, which is just for the wood dowels. I only broke 2 or 3 cam locks, and only the bigger ones, the smaller ones went in much more smoothly. All in all, a nice looking chest for $250, but paper-thin veneers so rough handling will definitely shorten the life, or at least make the veneers peel. The drawers make the chest heavy, so recommend using the supplied anti-tip hardware. UPDATE - I very carefully loaded this into our SUV, laid it on its back, then just for grins used blue carpenter tape to secure the drawers so they did not rattle on our road trip - outdoor temps are under 80 degrees, I decided to use the space inside the drawers and load some stuff - peeled back the blue tape and it took the veneer with it in two places - so LESSON LEARNED - this stuff is FRAGILE, do NOT tape it anywhere where you want to see it - veneer comes off with the cheapest of carpenter tapes !!!!!!!!! ... show more

The pieces that were to be the bottom of the drawers were not cut tot the correct size. They both were too large and the pieces were able to be screwed together due to the this. I contacted the seller the same day to report the issue. I was offered three options- keep & receive a replacement (did not choose as I did not want to run the risk of additional defective merchandise) keep & receive partial refund to have pieces fixed locally (did not choose as I do not have the time to find to someone to do this) and last the option to properly repackage, provide pictures, and they would provide a return label. After informing the seller I would rather return, they sent a follow up message stating that if I chose to rerun I would have to pay for partial return shipping or they would issue a partial refund if I kept the items. It seems they are overly concerned about paying the shipping costs and that would explain why a week later they still haven’t issued return label. And if they drag it out long enough by not providing the label , they will not have to issue a refund because the return window will be closed. ... show more

You get what you pay for. This dresser is ok but not real high quality. The drawers don't open and shut smoothly. The drawer capacity isn't great. The anti-tip metal on the front legs is unattractive. Outside of that, the dresser does look relative nice despite is't moderate quality. Assembly was pretty easy and self explanatory.
