It was an upgrade from our last projector and worked fine for 6 months. But out of nowhere today while watching something there was a loud POP and smoke started pouring out of it. I immediately unplugged but it is now just an unusable fire hazard.

The product itself is good for the budget... The problem is at this budget range all the choices are kind of terrible. Screen has a significant green tint and dark scene performance is better than competitors at this price range but still bad. The edges are blurry and out of focus. I ended up returning it and getting a optima projector instead. It cost quite a bit more but gives me the theater viewing experience I am looking for.
