I bought my first one in september of 2022 with a brand new 12 v battery and new Newpot 46 lb thrust trolling mtor. All worked great for about 4 uses, then it crapped out. I charged the battery which indicated full then got stuck again in JANUARY of all times! I bought a 2nd one this past spring. And today it completely disconnected the power to my trolling motor. After multiple attempt to rest the circuit using the onboard 60 amp fuse breaker button, the light s all showed "full power" but Nothing. The load on the wingnuts for a less than 2 year old Newport 46 lb thrust trolling motor just tanks the box terminals or the circuits, not sure which. I have been left high and dry now on 3 occasions. (had to be towed by others which is awful.) Today I finally just connected my trolling motor directly to the battery for maximum power and installed an inline 60 amp circuit breaker. The "box" is nothing more than a sheild from the sun now. They need to step up their circuits or wiring or something. I knew it was bad when i tried to actually charge my battery and got no response from the charger to indicate load was going back thru to the battery. Buyer beware. I would LOVE to get my money back for 2 purchases, but we all know THAT will never happen. ... show more
