Should I Buy It?

If you value mobility and independence and are looking for a scooter that's easy to transport and has a long battery life, this scooter is a strong candidate. It's particularly well-suited for those who travel on flat surfaces and have the ability to manage its weight. That said, if you frequently traverse uneven terrain or need a highly adaptable height setting, you might want to consider other options. Overall, for its convenience, performance, and user-friendly features, it comes highly recommended by current users.

  • very compact for what it is
I have had this for 2 1/2 months now and I LOVE it. I don't use it daily but need it for theme parks or going somewhere where I would be walking for long periods, as I am unable to walk and get extremely tired due to cancer treatment. Things I love about it: 1. COMPACT: I love how small it folds up because it fits in a trunk and we don't need a special carrier for it. It IS heavy, about 65 lbs, and is about the size of a large suitcase. I probably could not lift it myself but my 5'0" niece can easily lift it in and out of her trunk. Being compact also makes it easier to maneuver in stores because it is so small and has a tight turning radius. It's not as easy as walking around a store, but I can get into places that most scooters are too big to navigate. 2. ARRIVES FULLY ASSEMBLED except for putting the headlight in place, which is confusing and tricky because there are no instructions. I'm pretty sure we got it installed wrong, but it works. You also have to put the basket on, but that's pretty easy. But it came out of the box and all I had to do was unfold it, which takes seconds, and I could use it immediately as the battery even had a bit of a charge. I had so much fun scooting around my house. 3. LONG BATTERY LIFE I used this on a weekend getaway and only recharged the battery once. I used it on a stop at Solvang on our way home and rode around for 3-4 hours and then had plenty of charge left when I went to Knotts Berry Farm a couple of weeks later, which still hasn't depleted the battery fully. 4. BATTERY IS REMOVABLE FOR CHARGING on our trip I was able to leave the scooter in the car and bring the battery into our room to charge it, which is nice because we didn't have to try to find a convenient place to part the scooter in our room. 5. I CAN FOLD IT UP AND PUSH IT LIKE A WALKER . This is probably not what it was designed for and I don't know if I'm damaging the gears by doing this, BUT, for short periods I like to fold it and push it so I can get some exercise. I resisted buying a power scooter because I didn't want to be stuck in a chair all day. I gave in because my husband gets tired pushing me in my wheelchair when I get too tired to walk further. With the power scooter I can fold it, strap the handlebars so they don't turn, (I bought 2 cheap men's belts to do this with) and I can walk for short periods. It's not ideal but it lets me get up out of the chair for a little while. This feature also makes it possible to take escalators rather than searching for elevators if necessary. Things I don't like about it.... Absolutely nothing. I love it. It's perfect. It may not be perfect for a tall person, but I'm 5'2" and it's perfect for me. ... show more

  • What a fun little scooter!
I cannot walk long distances and need a scooter that is easy to transport so I can attend various events. I love this scooter. It is lightweight and fast, and being able to fold it makes it so easy to take anywhere. It's a bit cramped for long-legged people, but not uncomfortably so. If I have any complaint, it would be for the operating manual. It's worthless, especially regarding the initial learning process. Thank goodness for the video on the Amazon page; I had to watch it several times to figure out how to remove/replace the battery. This should have been explained in the manual and needs to be revised. But all in all, I love this scooter. ... show more

  • exactly how much it weights so I will know if I can lift it in the car myself.
Item is not as described. It weights a good amount more than professed. It is useless to me as I cannot lift the scooter to put it in my car.

  • Not for people with balance issues
This scooter will glide backwards on ANY incline or decline and if you're not able to use your feet to anchor yourself you will go with the scooter. Also the power is all in twisting the arm backwards so if you are not mindful to turn off the machine you will jolt your self fowards or backwards. The seat is nice and wide but the material will itch your skin. The scooter was too heavy for me but it may be light for someone stronger but my ppms diagnosis makes this a 2 man job, contradicting it providing independence. It does fold easy, has great battery live and fits in a sedan ... show more

  • Battery hint, best for flat ground, and with a cushion.
I bought this scooter for an Hawaiian cruise I was taking. I had torn my meniscus in my knee and knew I wouldn't be able to walk around like I was used to doing. First the good... I love that it comes already assembled in the box. Just pull it out and unfold it. It is a tight fit, and was a little tough for an injured 66 yr old grandma. It is very stiff to fold and unfold at first, but after a few times it gets easier. I didn't want to have to take apart and put together a scooter when I'm traveling. Plus the ones you take apart are heavy. Unlike other scooters I've used at times, there isn't a handle to push up to go forward or down to reverse. It's right handle adjust the speed, and to reverse it there is a button on the left side that you push in to reverse, and then push again to release, and go forward again. It runs very good on flat surfaces, and can be very fast, but it doesn't do well on inclines. (I had to get pushed to get on and off the ship's gangway.) I also like that you can lock the battery, and it comes with separate keys for the "ignition" and the battery. MAJOR BATTERY HINT... if you lock the battery for airline travel and it won't unlock, so you can use it, try to pull the battery out slightly and then push it back in. YOU SHOULD HEAR A CLICK. I couldn't use it for the first 5 days of my cruise. I couldn't pull the battery out more than an inch or so, and it never clicked when I pushed it back until the fifth day. Thankfully, we were traveling to Hawaii during that time and the ship was small. It says it goes upto 20 miles, but bear in mind there are factors that determine how far you can go. I found it went about 2 miles before the battery showed half full. I didn't go far as I was traveling alone and wouldn't have any one to help me if it died. I'll experiment with it and see how far I can actually take it. The TSA and airlines have strick guidelines on scooter motors and this one just passes. Carnival cruises also doesn't allow scooter over 21 inches wide (to fit thru the cabin doors) and this one qualifies, plus I can fold it up when in the cabin so it doesn't take up too much space. It also comes with a little tool kit. I contacted the seller via Amazon when I received it, for a missing headlight, which they sent to me immediately, and an issue with the basket, which they refunded me $20 so I could buy a different basket. The basket isn't shown on the scooter in any of the pictures because it won't fit due to the handbrake. I suggested they see if the manufacturer could tilt the handbrake down instead of out. I liked the weight limit of 50 lbs. I'm not as strong as I once was, but I can still lift and scoot it into my auto. My dislikes... There aren't any anti-tip wheels, back lights, or a back up beeper. Since the scooter doesn't do well on inclines, I don't think the anti-tip wheels matter much. I plan to buy regular bike lights for the back of the scooter, although I don't plan to use it at night. As for the beeper, no one seems to pay attention to them any way. The seat is okay for short trips, but after sitting on it for an hour during a show, it was very uncomfortable. I plan to get another seat to place on top of the one it comes with. The seat doesn't move, but the side handles are short enough to get on and off. I did find sitting side saddle on the scooter made it easier for me to roll my suitcase along side me. I bought an umbrella and a phone/cup holder to attach to the frame. The umbrella doesn't stay up that well, but it's better than the sun or rain coming down on you. Overall, I am very pleased with the scooter and the customer service I received from the seller. I don't plan to use it unless absolutely necessary. If I do need it more often, then I'll buy another battery for it. ... show more
