Very nice External CD DVD drive. When I bought it, I didn’t have my lap top yet, which wasn’t a problem. I looked the product over to make sure that it hadn’t been miss handled. I found no problem at all, the packaging was, be on good I was very pleased. I put the CD drive back into its case and back into it box and put it away until my laptop came in. Once the laptop came in I started getting all my photos together in folders so I could move them off my laptop on to CD’s, that’s when I found that the IN/OUT button didn’t work. I would have to take a small push pin to open the CD disk. I thought it was just me, but it wasn’t. You would have to use the push pin whenever you wanted to get the door open. The window was closed on March 8, 2025, to return and I understand I’m way past that date. But I was wondering if there was a way to return to get it fixed, I really can’t use it the way it is but I am willing to, if the price was right send it back to get it repaired.

Works great with Windows 11, just plug it in and no software to download. I put a CD-R in and a flash drive in it and dragged and droppedd the picture file from the CD-R to the flash drive. The case is great for impact and storage.

I have spent hours upon hours trying to get this player, burner to work with my new, 2025 MacBook Air M4 13 Inch computer. 1) It only mounts for the user that first connected it. I have never been able to get it to mount for any other user. That is not Mac Friendly!!! Such a waste… 2) It wants to put all music albums into ONE LONG FILE instead of individual albums that can be edited; ad cover art to. Not Mac Friendly. 3) My Apple CD Drive doesn’t work like this. It just imports the tracks and puts them into separate albums. Maybe the manufacturer shouldn’t have tried to make this device compatible for windows and Macintosh computers.
