This meat thermometers are excellent. Having the app and thermometer takes out all guess work. The app is easy to use and has plenty of features for time and temperature. However, as others have said, you have to insert this probe all the way to the line which is probably a few inches in. So, it doesn't work with small cuts of meat. If they could make the probe a bit shorter it would be perfect.

I actually purchased this pyrometer to take ground soil temps outside so I know when it’s safe to put plants in the ground but after opening the box and checking it out, I decided to keep it inside and use my old one for work. The thermometer is accurate and zeroes out perfectly in ice water right out of the box with no calibration needed at all. I decided to make this my main meat thermometer because the probe angles up at 45° instead of typical meat thermometers that have a 90° angled probe. This allows me to quickly and easily temp food without having to pull the pan out of the oven. The double heavy duty magnets allow you to stick it to the fridge or side of the stove where it stays put. It’s a really good price for a good pyrometer.

This thermometer is very easy to use nice bright display for the readout. I like the adjustable positioning of the probe and the shut off when you close the probe. Great addition to mylitchen tool box!!

These meat thermometers are really nice. Having two units is great for handling multiple roasts, and they work like a charm. The app is easy to use, and it's convenient to have the information and notifications at hand, rather than just by the oven or smoker. Two things to note: First, make sure to fully insert the probe to the line, or the temperature reading will be way off. I learned that the hard way the first time I used them. Second, because the probe needs to be fully inserted, they won't work well on smaller meat items because the entire probe has to be inside the meat. Overall, though, they're handy tools for cooking meat to perfection.
