I accidently ordered this (I was looking for the older one) but I decided to try it out. I love it! It's very compact on my counter. It's easy to use. The coffee so far has been great - definitely more flavorful than the K-cup coffees that I have used in the past. The frother is good, too. My only complaint is the coffee pods (vs the espresso pods) only brew 7 oz of coffee! WHO in the world drinks ONLY a measly 7 oz of coffee!!! I purchased this for a coworker as a gift and was very impressed with the price and the fact it came with a really good frother. I already had one and while the coffee is expensive, a little over a dollar per pod, depending on the one you choose, it really gives you a great cup of coffee just like you went out and got it from a barista. If you order the parts from Nespresso, you can even get a free bag to send the pods back to be recycled for free. love it. ... show more

Best coffee. Better than all the coffee changes. It will make coffee or espresso. The milk steamer is amazing with two sizes to choose from makes it super convenient. My 7 year old makes me lattes and coffee in the mornings with the steamed milk. It comes out perfect the perfect temperature. This was a better deal than on the Nespresso website. I wish they had a loyalty program so rewards were easier to accumulate. Their ‘sales’ at nespresso are like buy 8 sleeves get 1 free. I can't believe I've been living without one of these this long. While on a trip to the Dominican Republic, our room was equipped with an Nespresso machine and I just loved it. I had shied away from home pressure "barista" machines due to the cost and level of effort. This machine closed that gap. Easy to use, easy to clean/maintain, and pushing out espresso shots indiscernible from a shop. The frothier is easy to use with two modes, cold & hot. My ability to create art with it, needs help! All that said, an amazing addition to the kitchen, and if you're one to go out for brew, cost saving! ... show more

Best purchase ever. It’s so easy and you can order online from the official nespresso website and orders don’t take too long. They give you free recycling bags with paid shipping if you want to recycle the pods. The coffee tastes good and very easy to use.

    • Do Not Buy. Loud, coffee not hot enough and milk frother sub-par

This was a great price so I jumped on it. But my first surprise is how loud it is. Any reviews that say otherwise are not being truthful. I have a guest bedroom next to the kitchen and hesitate to use it for fear it will wake up guests. Yes, it's that loud. Second, the coffee is just not hot enough. It is okay at first but half way through your cup it will be cold. The coffee needs to come out much hotter. And also the the milk frother needs to have small amount of milk and foam much hotter, but more about that below). I find myself having to reheat my coffee in the microwave. As for the milk frother, it worked fine the first few days. 10% warm milk on the bottom and 90% foam on top. Not sure why it changed but now it's 90% warm milk on top and 10% foam on the bottom. I followed instructions carefully, washed per instructions and yet after using it only a few days it started doing less foam and more warm milk. When it was working a friend said I didn't have to scoop out the foam which was on top but to just pour it into the coffee and the little bit of warm milk would go in first and foam would slide on. She was right. until the foam started being on the bottom instead of the top. I went to her house where she has a $15.99 plastic milk foamer she's had for over a year. The spinner isn't magnetized but it works the same way and also does cold milk foam. Hers works perfectly...very little heated milk and lots and lots of foam. And she has the same size spinner. I'd buy another size spinner (I think there are 3 sizes) if I thought that would help but don't want to waste my $. Guess I'll buy one like my friend has. Lastly, the code that came in sample kit to get $10.00 off your first purchase wouldn't work. Did a Customer Service chat and she said she'd place the order for me (took all the information) and send me a link for payment information. I had to run so sent last message saying to send link to my email or text to my phone (provided information) but I had to go. Link never arrived. Tried using chat again but there was a queue and I couldn't wait. Haven't had time to chat again. Finally, the coffee descriptions are lacking. I like a mild breakfast blend coffee but don't know which one to order. It would be helpful if there was more information about the varieties to help you when ordering. For example, I generally like hazelnut/vanilla or hazelnut/cinnamon and ordered Nespresso's hazelnut It is so strong it's almost bitter. I threw it out after using one capsule from the box. A description saying it was intensely hazelnut would have steered me away from it. Bottom line, I wish I had done more research and not just jumped on to this because of the price point. I think I'll put it (w/o the milk frother) in the guest bedroom for company to use and find something else for my kitchen. I leaning toward anything that uses Kcups so you can get any coffee you like. (Sigh). ... show more
