While skiing out west three years ago I felt a little bone on bone pain in a high energy turn on a steep run. I was 58 years old at the time with decent knees despite 30+ years of Uncle Sam putting my bones to the test. As a proactive move I picked up a set of these braces and have not looked back. Perfect support without the unrealistic "bionic" false sense of stability. These braces kept me in my limits at my age but provided the support to ski almost 215K vertical feet in 14 days with zero issues (mix of Blue and Black runs) Very Comfortable. Forget I have them on. I consider myself an aggressive skier for my age (62 now 69" tall, 172 lbs) but I HIGHLY recommend these braces for those who want pro-active protection knowing they are not spring chickens but love the four season outdoor adventures. Very much a 5 STAR for my needs.

Update: Unfortunately, I had to remove 1 star. Please see the pictures of the rash that developed after wearing the knee supports for several hours. This is how it looks on Day 3. At first I thought it was just an indentation, but it’s an itchy rash. Another reviewer posted about this. I would say if you have sensitive skin, either don’t buy these or only wear for short periods of time. I still really like them. So when the rash clears, I’ll use them for my workout only. About half an hour. I’m also going to look into lining whatever material is used at the top. It did not cause an indentation or rash under the bottom part. So, just be aware of the potential issue. Clearly many people do not have this problem. Original Review: I bought these for weight training at home. I’m over 60 and it’s critical that I protect my joints. The last knee brace I had was uncomfortable. After reading reviews, I decided to give these a try. It’s much more economical to buy a pair. Another reviewer mentioned he went down a size because he wanted good compression for short-term wear (like working out). So I followed his advice. I’m 5’ 3’’ tall and weigh about 165 pounds. By the size guidelines (I measured as best I could), I should have ordered an extra large. I went with the large. I tried them on with the intent of wearing them for awhile to make sure I want to keep them. Well, it’s been over 2 hours and I forgot I still have them on! Supportive and comfortable. They appear to be excellent quality. I recommend washing in cold water, gentle cycle, air dry, to increase the longevity of the fabric. Highly recommended.

So I bought a pair of these over a year ago, they were almost perfect, but they REALLLLLY helped with my knee soreness from doin 20+ miles a day outside marching as a mailman. Wore em almost every day the entire winter last year managed to wear em out by spring. The only thing that began to happen was they'd slide down or up a bit when I got into and out of whatever I was driving that day. It was fine though. Tbey fixed it with the new model by adding a small rubber strip around the top and bottom of the cuffs on the inside, however.... this causes it to trap moisture and rubs on the skin, and i found out the hard way after i couldnt take it any more and needed a new pair and what felt at first like the normal tight fabric feel was actually blisters around my legs where the rubber on the insides of the cuffs that are supposed to keep them from traveling up and down your legs. I can say they did their job, a bit too well actually. If you're getting these for a seditary job, they'll do the trick, if you're active these will not work for you and may give you blisters.

I absolutely love these knee compression sleeves / knee braces. They are very good quality, comfortable, and have a secure fit. I have used them for the past two years playing competitive basketball and the gel pad and side spring stabilizers are great features in the product and help to provide some peace of mind when playing after tearing a meniscus a couple of years prior to using knee braces. My only sadness came when I broke one of the side spring stabilizers. I guess I was working them too hard! I'm looking forward to showing some of these off in action at the 2024 Huntsman Senior World Championships this year.

I had a few knee injuries in my youth and have worn a patella stabilizing knee brace for years. As I got older, I've occasionally worn a knee brace on both knees to reduce my knee fatigue and pain. The BREG knee brace was my most recent one and I was very happy with it. As I looked on Amazon to buy some new BREGs (because mine were becoming less supportive from years of use and occasional laundering), I was not happy to see the BREG priced at ~$75 each and decided to search for less expensive options. There are some I bought as potential replacements at a lower price than the NEENCA, but those didn't even stay put on my leg/knee for two hours of use before I had to remove them for being more aggravating than supporting. Today I tried the NEENCA knee braces for the first time. They stayed pretty much in place for the entire day with only a few minor adjustments needed. I walked around 3000 steps with them on and adjusted from a seated to standing position at my desk multiple times through the day. I am very pleased with the performance and particularly with the price being 1/3 the cost of the BREG knee braces I was replacing.
