This is such a clever solution! These windows can be installed directly onto an exterior wall (OSB and siding) without needing a framed opening. I didn’t even know that was possible, so I was thrilled to find them for my enclosed lean-to, which is very dark at the far end. The quality of the windows makes this work. They’re all metal - even the screen and mesh - so they’re strong, durable, and rigid enough to hold up without a 4x4 frame. While they offer little to no insulation, they’re perfect for sheds or spaces where insulation isn’t a concern. For finished interiors, installation might be trickier since you’d be cutting from the outside without seeing studs, but it’s doable if you’re confident. Installation was straightforward: cut an opening to size (being careful around studs), insert the window, screw it in through the outer flange (screws included), then finish with flashing tape and trim. Very affordable, too - definitely worth it for the amount of light two windows added!

Screened windows for the shed-Yay! Now I can keep out the flies and mosquitos while working. I selected the black 24x36. They look amazing! Just put frames over the flanges, I have no idea why the pics are all showing them with exposed flanges. These are nice quality aluminum framed, tempered glass windows, with screens. They are easy to install. This changes the whole feel of my shed, and allows me a much better usable working space. I was just working with the doors wide open, now I can close the doors. I now have extra light and good ventilation. They function well and look great. The side effect is you might spend too much time in the shed! Price at time of Vine selection (8/7/2025) $159.99USD, a decent value for a good quality window.

I added these to our chicken coop and so far they seem solid and well built. The tempered glass feels sturdy, and the stainless steel mesh is a big upgrade from the flimsy screens you usually see—it feels like something a raccoon couldn’t just rip through. Installation was straightforward, though I still have a little work to finish trimming and redoing the decorative part of the coop. Just don’t lose any screws for the frame, because they only give you one spare lol. Once in place, they let in plenty of light and give good airflow without worrying about rain or critters sneaking in. Overall, a nice set of windows that make the coop feel more finished and a lot sturdier.

I got this for my chicken coop which is a makeshift hillbilly-style raised wood cage I am closing in for the winter. I wanted a nice big window on the end so I could allow fresh air in on nice days while also keeping the birds safe, and this is perfect for that. It wasn't hard to install, and I'm a complete noob with building things like this. I just got it measured, cut out a hole, and secured it in. Havent had an issue with it! It's a good size, feels very well made, and functions just as you'd expect a window to. Overall, NO complaints and I am quite happy with it!

I got these to replace a broken shed window. The windows that came in the shed did not have a screen and I'm sure they just thought, it's a shed, nobody cares. But let's be honest it gets REALLY hot in the summer and sometimes you need some air flow! We also live in year-round mosquito territory and they love to ambush us in the shed where we keep our 4-wheelers. I'm very impressed by the quality of these. Yes, they are single-pane, but well-built with smooth gliding parts. They were fairly easy to install. We had more problems getting the old ones out than these ones in. I'm very happy with the end result and would've gotten them sooner if I knew it was this easy...
