I'm on my second bottle of this vitamin and find it easy to take. I think I chose it because of its high reviews but I take some additional nutrients with it. Have had no problems and assume it's doing its job!

I have noticed more energy and less aches and pains when l take one. HOWEVER, l have problems swallowing large pills and these capsules are HUGE. So l just bite the end off, suck out the inside, then chase it with a full glass of water. It does not taste as terrible as one might imagine. But still, l would rather take 2 doses in pills half that size! But they are affordable and seem to work, so l guess l will just deal with it. ... show more

I have been diagnosed with a genetic iron overload disorder, so have to watch my iron intake. No meat, etc. Thats includes iron in supplements and multivitamins. I didn't realize how hard it was to find vitamins without iron. I found 2 brands after searching hard. These are extremely big but I'm used to swallowing huge pills from prenatal vitamins that I took during all of my pregnancies. Not a deal breaker for me. There is a nasty aftertaste if you don't swallow with water quickly. But I don't know any vitamin or supplement that doesn't have that bitter aftertaste. I love this brand in a soft gel, they work very well for me, I have several health issues, and these are easy to swallow, no heartburn after taking, even on an empty stomach. They have more vitamins and minerals than some of the other brands I have tried. Quality and economy-wise these vitamins are great. The formula is solid, there's no stomach upset, and there's no weird after-taste. However, these capsules are massive. Without a doubt the largest pills I've ever come across in 50+ years. If you have trouble swallowing pills, this is not the product for you - and since they're softgels, splitting them is out.
