Purchased this to pump Def from 55gl drum. Pumps a little slow, but I wanted that pumping Def. It's quite, pumps great. I like the handle and screen inside handle well thought out, and hangs when not in use. It comes with a bung adapter so it works on course and fine thread. The pump swivels which is a must. I like the way the hose is made, it's very flexible. Down side...it's made of thin plastic, not sure how long it will last. The price was good and the shipping was quick. I would skip this product. Hooked it up and turned it on after charging battery. Fuel leaked all over, cheap plastic hose (like really cheap little kids toy, brittle and thin) was already cracked. Spent another 30 dollars on a proper rubber hose so I could use the pump. I have only used it once, and once it had a proper hose installed worked great. Based on other reviews, I am unfortunately skeptical this will last very long. The 55G gauge was a similar experience. Lightly screwing it in and the cheap, brittle plastic crumbled and collapsed!!! Based on other reviews, I am not expecting this to work for long. I would choose another brand. Why would a company cheapen themselves this way. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this and used it for 2 months. Then it just stopped working. So I took it apart to see if it was repairable. The motor was full of fluid and the wires had disintegrated. Not worth the money I paid.

I transfer acid from 55 gal drums and so far quite no noise and easy to operate . Perfect and great value . I make sure I rinse the acid out with tap water to prevent rust

Haven't had the chance to fully prove out the pump worthiness because the hose cracked and failed within the 1st week of use. And I can't find the replacement hose to order yet, so the pump serves no purpose at the moment.
