This is good for people like me who have a hard time swallowing big pills. The con is it's very sweet. It's sugar coated and if you're diabetic beware. The gummies are sweet enough and I don't get why they have to coat them with sugar on top of that.

Ordered here or purchased in a local store. You can't beat Vitafusion for their quality. I've taken these for years because I have to. but I choose this brand because I want to.:) if you must take a calcium supplement. always follow your doctor's instructions first Then do a little research and figure out what gives you the best bang for your nutritional buck. I don't like large pills and cannot always take them. (too hard to swallow). Bargain pills often have fillers., like wheat, which are also out for me. Gummies are not good for everything. but they're good for quite a lot if you can't, or don't want to take pills. It's also convenient to. know that Amazon. may have these if local stores are out of stock. ... show more

    • Easier on the digestion than other Calcium
After trying Calcium Carbonate, and Calcium Citrate (supposedly easier to digest), my Dr suggested gummies. These don't have near the stomach upset problems, and they seem even less if I take right before meal vs afterwards. My only complaint is that they're very sweet, coated with a layer of crunchy sugar to improve the texture and taste. To take the edge off I give a quick rinse with water, which dissolves enough of the sugar to lower sweetness but retains the mouthfeel. My least favorite flavor is the cherry, so I always combine with another flavor (usually strawberry) to minimize the flavor. This will be my go-to. ... show more
