This product is a game changer. It does not leave any white residue around ur edges. I don’t recommend for warm weather especially for edges it won’t hold very long. But if the atmosphere is cool/cold it works perfect. For locs this product works out great when retwisting.

I usually have my locs professionally twisted 4/5 times a year. In between salon visits, I do my own retwists. I don't use a comb, I just use my fingers and clip them down. I allow to air dry naturally. I don't snatch every little hair like my stylist does - and I fine with it. I like the way it smoothes my hairline, without being hard to the touch. You can see some of the texture. It will be interesting to see how it washes out on wash day. I also use this brands, Rosewater Mist and Jasmine Retwist oil.

I can’t lie.. I was skeptical!!! Only because I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp so literally all other gels or edge control causes flare ups. This literally held my retwist clean and neat for dayyysssss!!!! My scalp wasn’t itchy, there was no greasy or flaky residue, it didn’t turn white either!!! I will be buying this over and over again. It smells just like rose water to me, which I love. The only issue I had was amazon carrier threw the package at my door and it cause the lid to break.

I wouldn't say the product itself is bad. My dad uses it for his dreads so I bought him a new one as a gift spending thirty two dollars for a sixteen ounce. I thought I was crazy at first because it looked kind of small compared to some of the reviews but no I got a 4oz instead of 16. I really hope they fix this issue
