I like this basket. It's a little bit too large for the Kamado Joe, it just barely fits and is a bit of a pain to make fit. Worked great but the solder joint on one of the clips that holds the two halves of the basket together broke this week. I am 3 days out of warranty. Should be more durable than that.

This has leveled up our wing game significantly! It’s super easy to set up and get going and everything we’ve cooked in this from wings, fries, and roasting hot peppers or veggies tastes so good with this easy and affordable basket. The fit is snug on the KJ Classic II but still turns and works great! The only downside is cleaning, it’s difficult to clean and maintain especially if you forget to spray it with oil before your cook. It rips up low quality sponges and can leave behind pieces of it if you don’t catch them and remove them. The best way to clean it is setting the grill on high heat and cooking it off over fire.

Depending on how you use it, it can be convenient or an extra task. Instead of worrying about having to flip the veggies or the chicken wings, use this baby and you won't have to be glued to the grill. It is bulky though.

I purchased this rotisserie basket for my new Napoleon rogue Grill. I also purchased the Napoleon rotisserie kit with it. This is probably one of the most liked features of my grill. The basket is easy to install, after an initial first time use. The latch on it is extremely secure, and once you get used to it it is very easy to open and close it. If you spray the entire basket with Pam, it is extremely easy to clean. I also spray the rotisserie rod with Pam too so this comes clean too. A quick wipe with a sponge and all the food drippings comes right off. If you don't do this, it will be difficult to clean the basket. My basket held approximately 30 wings and it had plenty of room for more. All the wings actually toss in the basket as it's going around so all of them are equally done. I plan on doing ribs, and jalapenos in it shortly. People who are complaining that it's too hard to open, have to realize, you have weight inside the basket and if it doesn't secure perfectly, the basket will open. Once you learn the little trick and what to push and pull, you'll have no problems with it at all. I have many barbecue tools and accessories, and this basket is my favorite. There is so much you can do with it. You can easily put a nice size pork tenderloin in it, ribs, a pork roast, Chicken wings, breasts, legs, and every other poultry product. The basket fit my Rouge perfectly and there was room on the bottom for a foil pan to catch drippings. This is a solid built product with nice thick mesh cage, sturdy lock, and absolutely excellent quality.

My only complaint about this basket concerns the closing latch. When I first got it I found it very difficult to close and even far more difficult to open once closed. The top latch when meeting its bottom part were rubbing very, very tightly against each other. This is the reason for a dropped star. I ended up taking a dremel tool and carved away a small part of the upper edge of the top latch. Now it works fine. I have learned that when cooking chicken wings, which is what I use the basket for, I only use oil and salt and nothing else on the wings until the wings have been fully cooked. (Actually I do a light salt only brining of the wings the day before I am going to cook them.) Only after the wings have been removed from the basket do I add rub and or sauce to the wings. Before the wings are put into the basket I spray oil on both the inside and outside of the basket, including the latch. Once the wings have been removed from the basket, I put the basket in the sink and spray water on it. After our meal, it only takes a lite brushing with a small long handle brush and a little soap to clean the basket. It takes me only a couple of minutes to bring the basket to a new looking condition. I have not noticed any taste difference between adding the rub and or sauce after the wings have been removed from the basket as opposed to before. I think those who have found it a pain to clean are adding the rub first which probably contains sugar which can cause a real mess in the basket. Sugar even causes my griddle to become difficult to clean. Hope this information is helpful to someone.
