These are excellent. Far better than my Miracle Ear hearing aids which I paid $5,800 for. BUT, if you're like me, you will have to clean the wax guards regularly. That involves removing them with the supplied tool and using a safety pin. Five wax guards are included in addition to those on the hearing aids. SO--if you have the patience, dexterity and close-up eyesight to do that, these are excellent and you need to look no further. As a matter of fact, cleanable wax guards are one of the best features of these. The noise cancelling is excellent. They are comfortable. The volume control is better than rollers which can be accidentally changed. Four stars because directions do not speak of the cleanable nature of the wax guards. Do not stick the safety pin into the hearing aid itself because that will destroy the little speakers inside. ... show more

To be honest, it was an experiment...not yet willing to admit I needed help with my hearing, I decided the price was right for thinking I would at least be proven right about my hearing. Not only was I wrong about my hearing, I was also wrong about thinking there is no way this product can do all it says it can for that price. Everything they say turned out to be true for me...it made is so worth being wrong :) ... show more

they are quite large, maybe I missed the size selection tab when ordering, once I Put the rubber 'protector cup thing' in place doesn't fit well in my ear. Oh and it squels easily, and it is load enough for others to hear the squel. if you put the volume real low, like off low it won't but then I can't hear with them. ... show more

I needed to have hearing aids to help with sound volume. These work for that, but are too good. The volume is increased so much that every little sound is too much to bear. They are small and can be hard to insert in your ear, so if you’re aged, as I am, they can be hard for you.

After two months of use, tried to recharge and would not, no light, no charge. 30 days were up. so could not return to Amazon. I emailed the company several times and no response. No telephone number to call. I guess I am out $149.00, is what I paid and now I see it cost considerably less. Don't buy from Hionec, you will probably get screwed, one way or another. ... show more

Purchased for my mom who's been almost completely death her whole life. These allowed her to hear way better and she will wear these because they look like standard ear buds and not big bulky hearing aids like she had when she was younger that she refused to wear because all the kids would stare and make fun of her. She said she can hear so much better now and is relieved to be able to after 40+ years of only hearing not even half as much as she should. Before you had to yell to talk to her and she would yell to respond but now she can lower the voice and not sound like she's yelling ... show more

Worked well at first but after only 6 months they will no longer recharge, making them useless. Amazon really should put pressure on the manufacturer to resolve this issue as I see others have the same issue.
