This level 2 EV charger works so great! This little portable charger is super convenient and you can take it with you if you need to travel. Other chargers are too bulky or large, and they are usually attached to your wall. This is a fast charging charger. The15A EV charging cable gives you 3.4KW of charging power, it is more rugged, it is really great quality for price and compact and durable. This is a perfect charging cable for home use with a 16 foot cable which is long enough for driveways or garages, I have mine in a garage and it reaches so easily! The ONKO Portable EV charging cable is compatible with all electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids with the J1772 standard. This uses a 220 Volt or 240 Volt NEMA5-15 outlet to plug the charger into and it works lie a dream. You will need an adaptor for this to work with the Tesla so be aware of that! I use this on a Nissan leaf and it works great with no issues. This also claims to be waterproof the charging cable meets IP65 waterproof level, you can let your car charge in the rain without any problem. UL94V0 flammability protection is also included. I have not tested this fully but seems to work when a little wet so no issues there. For the price, this charger is amazing and you can connect to your home easily with no issues. I got this as an extra so I could keep my stock charger stowed in the car. This charger seems to operate just as well as the one that came with my Bolt EV, plus the additional functionality of 220v if I chose to use it. I may keep this charger along with some RV style adapters in my car for road trips or visiting family. The ability to set amperage on the EVSE is really nice for a portable unit. Carrying case adds to portability. The J1772 connector feels solid, and has a satisfying click. This is an excellent level 1 (standard US outlet / 120V) charger. The device itself appears to accept up to 240v, but given the attached plug you'd need to do some atypical adapting to actually feed that voltage (or, basically, don't: given the cord, this is a 120V charger). That said, it works perfectly and charges a fair bit faster than the standard cable included with my car. It is easy to adjust to a lower amp setting (if you're sharing the circuit with other outlets, you might need to drop the amperage to avoid blowing a fuse). It's pretty basic - no info readout or anything - but it charges and comes with a nice travel case. Perfect for keeping in the car (or using at home, leaving the original cable in the car). ... show more

I use this charger for my Tesla Model 3 with my J1772 adapter and it works perfect. The original Tesla adapter only allows you to pull 12Amps but you can pull a full 15Amps from a 5-15 regular house plug. Just make sure your wiring is in good condition or I'd keep it at a max of 13-14 amps. I'd like to address the pictures in this listing show what seems to be a Euro style J1772 PLUG but this actually has a regular American style J1772 on it with a 5-15 on the other end for normal household plugs. I haven't been able to try it yet but it says you could use 240v with this but you'd need a 5-15 to 6-20 adapter first. Gets me about 5-6mph on my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. Several of my relatives &old friends drive electric & it's always a bit of an inconvenience finding a charging station then hope there's something nearby to pass the time - they were pleasantly surprised when I showed them this portable ev2 charger - the LED display is a nice touch & they said it charged just as fast as their home stations - it also worked with the Tesla adapter no prob ☺️ my aunt even bought one for the convenience & peace of mind on her ride home Takes about the same amount of time for it to get a full charge than it did to charge the vehicles ... show more

This is a very well made portable charger, great quality for the price you pay! Rated waterproof for any charging situation, wet or dry, great for outdoor all weather charging. Good length of the cable, 16 feet so you dont have to kill yourself parking perfectly next to your outlet. It comes with a very nice carry case and overall gives out a quality feeling in everything you touch, the cables, plugs, charging block, etc. It does look and feels like a well built and tough little charger!
