Good fire starter
Size: 100 count (Pack of 1)
Pattern Name: Starter
This is my second purchase of this item. I bought these for my boyfriend and he liked the way it worked. It was easy to use and it did start up the charcoal with one, I believe we use two of the fire starter for the wood we use to BBQ. Good product. Stick to what you know ☺️

Efficient Burn, Natural Scent: A Reliable Fire Starter
Size: 100 count (Pack of 1)
Pattern Name: Starter
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this fire starter and was quite pleased with its overall performance. Priced attractively, it offers good value for money, especially considering its burn time. Depending on the volume of the fire logs used, it burns for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. One of the standout features for me was its natural smell, devoid of any annoying or chemical odors, which often accompany similar products. The fire starter is easy to light, which is a significant advantage, ensuring that I could get my fire going quickly without much hassle. Its design, featuring a round bottom, seems to contribute to its efficiency in burning. However, this shape can also present a minor inconvenience as it sometimes makes it difficult for the fire starter to sit stably on rough surfaces. This is a small trade-off, though, for the efficiency it brings to the burning process. In conclusion, this fire starter is a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy a natural and efficient fire-starting solution. Its ease of use, pleasant smell, and good burning time make it a product I would recommend. Just be prepared to manage its stability due to its unique round bottom design, especially on uneven or rough surfaces.

Useful item
Size: 100 count (Pack of 1)
Pattern Name: Starter
These aren't as easy to light as the little packets, but I found that if I hold one of the balls in a gloved hand and take a minute to get it going with a lighter it provides a long-lasting and bright ball of fire that gets all the kindling going every time. In short, harder to light than the little packets, but burns hotter and longer. I'll make sure I have a supply on hand for hard-starting wood.

they work like they're supposed too
Size: 100 count (Pack of 1)
Pattern Name: Starter
I don't understand most of the previous reviews. They work like they are supposed too, pretty much end of story. Yes, they take a little bit to start, if they were easier to start or faster burning they would be about as effective as one sheet of newspaper, gone in a flash. Did anyone really think they were going to be so hot that they would get a draft going in a cold chimney? They work great for starting up the small stuff (aka: kindling) before you add the real wood. There really is nothing to "love" here, they work. However, on balance, the fact that they work as advertised is something rare these days and getting rarer everyday. As for the reviews pertaining to starting up charcoal and the apparent argument that ensued; really??? I don't understand how anyone could think one of these or 4 or 5 for that matter could get a charcoal grill going. A lot more effective and economical method , for a charcoal fire anyway, would be to use the old newspaper and starter chimney method. As for the green egg type grill, do you realize how much thermal mass you are trying to heat there? That is why it works so good, the ceramic mass, just like the clay oven it was modeled after, retains the heat and provides an even temperature. Just like an old cast iron pan, which also takes forever to heat and is a nightmare if it gets too hot. Really, starting a fire is not rocket science but there is definitely a right way and a wrong way for each fire in its own respective appliance. It is more complicated than simply throwing a match in a pile of brush. You don't want a runaway brush fire, you're looking for a controlled burn and these can certainly do the job. Also, a definite plus is the economy these provide. They are a lot cheaper then the "dynamite" starters someone suggested. Bottom line: they work and we're ordering another box of them. Thanks.
