I bought this for my daughter for Halloween. She loves this costume, but when she tried it on she said the shirt is scratchy. The top is not very long either. I told her we could put a tank top under the shirt, but the sleeves are scratchy too. I think it will work but it will be uncomfortable.

Ordered a medium for my 60 pound 9 year old. She generally wears a size 8 (or a medium in kids). For her age she is in the 30% for weight and 40% for height... so not a big girl. The medium was way too small. She could barely fit the top on and the bottoms were very tight on her thin frame. She said the bottoms gave her a wedgy. They did appear to have very short crotch. I immediately re-ordered the same costume from the same Amazon vendor and got a size large. The size large bottoms were huge. I'm talking REALLY BIG! There was no way to make the large work. I thought I could some how do a little sewing and get it to work. Nope, the bottoms were just way too big. They were so big that they fit me! However, the size large top fit her perfect and looked more like a size medium. The material on the top was very stiff. The accessories that came with the costume were great. The belt fit and the colored hair extensions were a great addition and stayed in her hair. Shipping for both the medium and large costumes was super fast. ... show more

My daughter is about 38-40lbs and about 3 feet 9.5 inches and I ordered a small. It fit her perfect for how we wanted it to fit. She was able to wear leggings underneath along with a shirt and her black coat so she wouldn't freeze. The costume is pretty thin but with her clothes underneath she didn't complain of being cold. When she wore the costume by itself to try it on the sleeves of the shirt were a little itchy but with her clothes underneath it didn't bother her at all. She loved that it came with the red and blue strands of hair. I did have to tuck them into her hair ties as they kept falling off but it was an easy fix. I wouldn't recommend brushing the strands of hair they do "fray" pretty easy. She did face painting for her eyes instead of using the eye mask that it came with. My 8 year old daughter wears a size 12 and sometimes a size 14 in shirts depending on the brand. She's not thick, she's extremely tall for her age, so I'm always nervous ordering any clothing item online for her. We went with a size large and crossed our fingers. To my surprise it was even a tad loose! We are so happy with the fit! I'm also happy that it comes with the leggings (if you can call them that, they're thin costume material but, knowing typical kids costumes it's what I expected) AND came with 2 hair clips, a blue and a red one. I didn't realize it came with that and we were planning on dying her hair but she's super happy with just using the unexpected hair clips so momma's happy too! For a childrens Harley Quinn costume, my daughter and I are super happy with it and she can't wait for Halloween :) Only downfall is she said the sleeves are scratchy but, she'll have on a long sleeve shirt underneath anyway so that ought to fix that! ... show more

I loved how it looked the top was some what tight so were the pants but after a minute the pants felt comfortable but the top wasn't I'm a 10-12 the top was about 8-10. It came with accessories such as red & blue hair accessories and a bracelet very nice purchase!

Was a fantastic buy !! The costumes for my kids are typically handmade as I hate the quality of store bought costumes, however we were in a time crunch and just moved, so I purchased this for my 5 yr old. This was to my surprise such great quality.. even the hair clips, which many people complained on here about, were totally great! I gave her pigtails, then clipped each one above its pig tails hair tie, then brushed them and they spread out and blended over her entire pigtails nicely and looked great! We wanted to add more to the outfit so I purchased face paint and hair coloring (blue and red spray) but her hair being light brown the hair clips made the color so much better then the spray, so all you really need other than this outfit would be ; face paint and an under shirt which we used a black long sleeve that had sparkles on the sleeves , and we also made a red and black hammer with a real rubber mallet from Walmart with red spray paint and black electrical tape to make the designs on it. But this outfit is nice even if you do not add the additional items , the only thing that is necessary I'd say is the undershirt , especially if purchasing for a child. ... show more
