Funnily enough, this was the high frequency that came in my kit for esthetics school. Now, I’ve purchased another for my boyfriend for his hair growth journey. First a foremost: high frequency is truly a game changer. The electrical current is great for ozone effect on the skin to kill stubborn acne bacteria, bring oxygen to the skin (which acne HATES), and even stimulate dormant hair follicles. It has been and will always be one of my favorite modalities. This particular product, while I see it has mixed reviews, has been reliable for me. I’ve had this exact product for four years now and *knock on wood* haven’t experienced a single issue with it. The device comes with several attachments. You get a small, spot shaped tube for spot treating blemishes/imperfections, a larger more flat tube for gliding over the face and neck, a “tongue” tube for around the eyes, nose, and above the lip, and a comb tube for stimulating hair growth. I use it a couple times per week to brighten my complexion, and I’ll use it for a few minutes at a time, but my boyfriend will use the comb attachment a few times a week for ~12 minutes on his scalp for hair growth. We have seen incredible results for both uses. Even his barber noticed a difference with his hair growth. As someone who has struggled to manage acne, this tool has been so useful for me. I purchased this only 2 months ago and only used it twice and third time only one of the glass rods works in it now and barely. Now it’s too late to return for refund. I’ve been an esthetician for 25 years and I know how to use these devices. Over the last 5 years they have become less and less dependable in my business. Cheaply made. Nothing lasts anymore. This is my 4th one in 5 years. And I only need it in my business maybe twice a month. So disappointing. ... show more
