I’ve never bought an umbrella that costs more than $10, so I was expecting this one to be really impressive. I bought it to block the sun when sitting for hours at a soccer game, but it has a problem when using it this way - you can see through the fabric of the umbrella. The material seems decent and I’m assuming it would do a great job of keeping the rain off you. It’s easy to open. Slightly difficult to close so if you have injured hands or arthritis, this umbrella won’t work for you. It was easy to get the cover of the umbrella back on. Tl;dr It’s a decent umbrella and probably does well for blocking rain. Look elsewhere if you’re planning to use it to keep the sun off you. ... show more

UPDATE: After posting my original review, I did find that even though the umbrella turned inside out, it was easy to fix and still use it. I also am very impressed with how the Seller reached out to me with sincere concern for my satisfaction and willingness to make things right. I really like the quality of this umbrella, especially it won't blow inside out in the wind. My daughter works in downtown Chicago where the wind becomes very gusty and she loves it. Also, it has a replacement warranty which I have never heard of with other brands. The only thing I find difficult about this umbrella is it has a very solid spring mechanism that makes it a little difficult to close. ... show more

I wanted to wait and write this review after a very rainy weekend in NYC. I love this umbrella. It's sturdy, easy to open, easy to close and didn't invert in the wind like my friends' umbrellas did. It's big enough for two people and the hardest decision was which print to buy. It fit easily in my backpack and my large purse. Once you put it down with the button, it does take a little effort to fully collapse the handle but that's not a big deal. ... show more

This umbrella is made extremely strong it can handle winds it can handle rain it can handle almost anything thrown at it I bought one of these for my girlfriend who lives in the Philippines and I finally decided to buy one for myself because hers has survived a lot longer than any of the umbrellas I bought here and so far it is held up to be a wonderfully Superior standard to any other umbrella I've ever owned. ... show more

This umbrella is adorable and I love that the picture is facing me on a dreary day. It makes rainy days a little better. It did well when I used it, but it wasn't a windy day so I haven't tried out that feature yet. It is very long when closed, but I like the auto open and close feature.

I work at an elementary school and I use this everyday to give me shade and let me tell you IT'S WORTH IT! I got the moon pattern and the picture is STUNNING! The kiddos are completely obsessed with it. I will say that it does flip up pretty easy in the wind but it goes back easily and it doesn't seem to be getting messed up from it (after about 2 months) Overall I definitely recommend! ... show more
