Has got a lot of junk out of our pool

Using on our best way powersteel above ground pool. After reading reviews I wasn’t sure if it was even worth buying but Works way better than expected. You definitely need to buy the filter socks otherwise the small things go right through strainer. Several reviews talked about it breaking && I can definitely see that happening very easily with the way it hangs && bounces from the wind && any ripples in the water it makes cricking noises like it may break. It does take some messing around with to get it in the best position. On our pool there is the “a” hose that shoots water out then ours has two “b” hoses that this suck water into filter. I found this seems to sit && work better on the second “b” hose (the one further from the “a” hose && filter) hope that makes sense. If you have a lot of trees around &&/or have things that fall && float in pool often do yourself the favor && go ahead && buy this. Not sure on durability since I just put it up day before yesterday 6/6/24 if it breaks sometime soon I’ll update review

The media could not be loaded. So, the instructions are not that great. I have no idea how the gray rim that goes over the skimmer basket would connect because there is nothing there to hold it in place and so it will just lift up with the water and float above the water line which prohibits anything from entering the skimmer basket. The other thing is the hose adapter plug thing. The one end fits on the 1.25" hose to go to the skimmer and the other end is supposedly meant to go out the sidewall of the pool where the exterior 1.25" hose connects. However, the other end of the adapter is much larger than the opening in the pool wall. I had to adapt things. So far. It has picked up a little bit of stuff but I had to take that top ring off. I'm not overly impressed.

This skimmer is the worst, not only does it keep falling off and releasing all the trash in it. It doesn’t collect trash! It’s not skimming have to manually skim the entire pool. I used to have a bestway one , that was the best it’s unavailable, I had to purchase this one :( if you find a best way one buy that one instead! It’s small too!

Seems to be in decent working condition however it was not new. It has been returned. There was cat hair all over it. I was able to clean it off but still was not a new product

This is probably the greatest thing I ever did for this above ground Intex pool or actually it’s the best way pool now, but I should’ve done it with the Intex. We had it works phenomenally it catches all the bugs. All the debris the leaves everything and I very rarely have to clean the top. You know hell pools pick up all the debris that’s blowing around especially in here in Jackson New Jersey. It ends up we get a lot of wind so you get a lot of stuff you get picked up and blow it into the pool, I don’t have to clean it every day the skimmer does it for me
