This is probably the greatest thing I ever did for this above ground Intex pool or actually it’s the best way pool now, but I should’ve done it with the Intex. We had it works phenomenally it catches all the bugs. All the debris the leaves everything and I very rarely have to clean the top. You know hell pools pick up all the debris that’s blowing around especially in here in Jackson New Jersey. It ends up we get a lot of wind so you get a lot of stuff you get picked up and blow it into the pool, I don’t have to clean it every day the skimmer does it for me

I love this thing it does work as advertised as long as you keep the water levels where they need to be, but it is easy to adjust and fix that. I do wish that the hose would be more flexible. The stiff hose that comes with is a little bit stiff I wish it would be more flexible. , but it does work very very good as advertised would purchase again maybe with a modification if I could find a more flexible hose but if this is not an issue for you, it absolutely works. It will work perfectly. It’s just I want more. Flexible hose personal preference would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. So, the instructions are not that great. I have no idea how the gray rim that goes over the skimmer basket would connect because there is nothing there to hold it in place and so it will just lift up with the water and float above the water line which prohibits anything from entering the skimmer basket. The other thing is the hose adapter plug thing. The one end fits on the 1.25" hose to go to the skimmer and the other end is supposedly meant to go out the sidewall of the pool where the exterior 1.25" hose connects. However, the other end of the adapter is much larger than the opening in the pool wall. I had to adapt things. So far. It has picked up a little bit of stuff but I had to take that top ring off. I'm not overly impressed.

I had the plastic clamp on my pool for about a week, and unfortunately, it cracked while in use. I attempted to improvise a fix to salvage it, but despite my efforts, it’s not working as intended. Initially, it worked well for a couple of days, but now I realize it needs reinforcing where it hooks over the pool’s edge. I recommend reinforcing the clamp setup to prevent similar issues in the future. By providing additional support for the clamp to go over the pool’s edge beforehand, like the temporary solution I have in place, we can avoid damaging the fragile plastic. This proactive approach will ensure stability and prevent issues with clamping onto the pool’s edge moving forward. If possible, I kindly request a replacement clamp piece to be sent to me. This way, I can reinforce it before encountering the same problem again. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated, as I’ve learned that the current plastic material is not durable enough for the task at hand.

I have a 24’x 54” round steel frame above ground pool. I bought one of these several years ago and it’s an absolute game changer in keeping my pool perfect all summer long. I did replace the factory pump that comes with the pool because they’re just too small with a larger Harris 2500 GPH pump. I connected the skimmer on the side of the pool near the outlet port. I have absolutely no issues with leaves or debris or any of that even after heavy winds and storms. Everything is right there in the filter and congregated right above it if it gets full in event of a storm etc. Cleaning my pool is a breeze since I’ve found this.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this much needed skimmer and immediately hooked it up. Living in the country, we have lots of trees and bugs, not to mention dirt from a dirt road. The skimmer took no time (10 minutes tops) to hook up and comes with easy to follow directions. It fit perfectly on my pool and is already busy doing its job. I have included two pics and a video to show it attached to the pool and working. I feel like this product is a good quality for the price. It appears to be sturdy, and I think this will cut down on me having to clean the pool and remove unwanted debris with a net. Wish I had ordered one sooner!

The media could not be loaded. Works as it should. You need to adjust to your water level ,and check it often but that's easy enough to keep the pool clean. Easy to set up. Great for the price. I also still use both intakes. And flow is the same.
