I can’t walk around my bed without stubbing my toe or hitting my shin. The quality is good but the design is flawed. We had to buy pads to reduce our injuries.

I have previously ordered similar bed frames, but they were the kind that was mostly preassembled and I just needed to unfold the frame and install a couple of screws. I should have watched the assembly video! It took me (73-year-old female) about an hour to assemble. The instructions were merely drawings with no descriptions. I did eventually figure it out, but as a few others have noted, some of the pre-drilled holes did not align perfectly and I struggled with those. Also, the frame ended up being a few inches wider and longer than the queen size mattress. So as others have experienced, there is a greater chance of stubbing your feet on the metal legs. This was a gift to my daughter, and after using it for only a few weeks, the supporting slats started falling out, and the two sections of the frame had a definite "rise" in between that made sleeping uncomfortable. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." And this best price option was not worth the savings. I would like to add that the company was very responsive to my complaints. They made sure I was satisfied with their response.

Update: I added two stars on account of the great customer service and understanding from this company. I ended up getting a refund shortly after that happened, and about a week or so later, The seller ended up emailing me and sent me a replacement free of charge! Probably the kindest seller I have come across, I have yet to try and put this one together but regardless they made sure I was satisfied! - - - So this held up pretty good until the middle beam literally snapped while I was sleeping, I would recommend this for small mattresses, I have a queen and I don’t think it was enough support.

I ordered this platform mainly because it was cheap, but it also looked easy to put together. While the instructions were simple and easy to follow due to the nature of assembly if you are trying to put this together on your own, good luck. You have to support the beams all the way to the end to line up the holes to put the screws in which obviously can be tricky to get in regularly let alone with half a hand because your other limbs are supporting the beams. After I put it together it was fairly sturdy but I don’t know about the weight limit.

It was easy to assemble. 2 of the screws on bottom part of frame didnt want screw in all the way. While putting new mattress on frame, didnt like how mattress got caught on slats and made them fall out of place to the ground. Plus side to the frame you can store things under bed compsre to a traditional bed frame where it sits low.
